I was woken up about 45mins ago by the worst storm I have ever seen. Never in 49 years has that happened before. None stop thunder and lightning for 30 mins and the heaviest rain I have seen. Only just thought wish i had got some pics.

At the risk of repeating " I'm in Orlando you know" there must have been 7 or 8 thunderstorms since we've been here. When it rains it really rains. According to the weather man we had 2 inches of rain in an hour the other day and that's not unusual.

Having a lie in today, I was woken not by thunder but by Thundercvnts - the flutes and drums of an Orange Walk. Some people around Glasgow think it's cool to celebrate a war 300 years ago in another country by blocking the road and making noise at 08:00.

After lying awake for a few minutes being a bit miffed at the disturbance, my mood changed when their ProdGod decided to unleash* torrential rain, thunder and lightning on them.

Have THAT, bigots.

[*not what I actually believe]

I could not sleep well so I watched the show since I was feeling a little better than earlier yesterday evening.

Either the heat had gotten to me or more likely some pain killers disagreed with me because I was wrecked, actually felt dizzy in HMV and then was close to collapsing on the bus home, was pale and drenched in sweat and still feel wiped today.

When i lived in Singapore there was mental thunder and lightening almost every night with rain like you have never seen, sometimes it wouldn't rain for 5 days at the heat at night was unbearable with no AC you would pray for a storm to cool the air down.
