Steve Earle Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 The trouble we find ourselves in was made by Pearson and the owners. We'd all be disappointed if we didn't get an upgrade on Pearson as next manager. There are few out there 'guaranteed' to do better, and those that are are giving us no obvious encouragement. I for one would be hugely disappointed if we ended up gambling on Lennon, Dyche or Cotterill (if we were in the championship that would be a different), I'd be disappointed too with Di Matteo, Vilas Boas, Ranieri, etc. So as Klopp and Hiddink are unlikely, I'm just getting my head round being disappointed: not just in the next manager (a Sousa or a de Boer) but in the owners and above all in Pearson, for letting us down like this.
Durnerz Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 Klopp would be a sensational appointment.Had the pleasure of watching his Dortmund side prior to Gotze and Lewandowski leaving and its up there with some the best football I've ever seen live. Sure last season wasn't the greatest for him but when you sell your two prized assets and get injuries to the likes of Reus and Hummels any team would feel that.Not sure how likely it is we'd get him after he stated he was taking a break from football but stranger things have happened, i'd welcome him in a heartbeat.

Whilst some on the site have confidently placed huge sums of money on the mad as a box o' frogs german with one poster residing in the back of beyond pub free village known as Baggywoth having parted company with a whole 2 and a half 'friggen' British pounds sterling, others have cast aspersions at the prospect labeling their counterparts as stupid Knuts (an english term for people with low intelligence resembling a lower yet rather important part of the female anatomy which often parts to enable the presence of dicks (a protruding part of the male anatomy which both decreases and increases in size, the latter often upon sight of Knuts; as well as people called Richard) It is clear opinion is divided but Herr Klopp (not of the gestapo) could well be on his way across the water on the LCFC Thai Owners very own branded luxury private chopper. Indeed rumours have it that he must indeed have already met the owners as for brief spells recently, he has been within 50 miles of the said chopper according to 'flightradar' (a useful yet inexpensive aircraft tracking app often used by terrorists to identify potential targets with ground to air missiles) albeit some suggest he is merely watching a bit of tennis at some gaff called wimbledon believed to be home of such wombles as Uncle Bulgaria and Vanessa Phelps.
