Just to be sure: have I just come out of a several year long coma? Last I can remember we were in the Premiership, we're not in League 2 are we?

If we were in League 2 this would still be a joke

Remember when the bookies said Guus Hiddink was the fav, then Lennon, then Cotterill, then Klopp entered the running?

Bookies are not oracles.

Bookies do what they do to make money.

On a small market, even small bets can cause odds to move significantly.

Please understand this.

Yeah but who is this guy? Who in their right mind would put a bet on this guy unless they knew SOMETHING

Of course but in these situations something is usually about right if the odds plummet to that extent, it might not happen with them taking the job of course but you don't get total randomers coming into this sort of price without some sort of 'smoke without fire'.

Pearson suddenly went 1/10 with the bookies an hour before he was fired, that was spot on.

This reminds me of when I laughed at Leeds for employing Dave Hockaday who was clearly out of his depth and a scapegoat for Cellino!

Karma....

Not really, if they are doing a Klopp and hanging around at 10/12-1 etc from bigger prices you can put it down to speculation and a barrel of small bets.

To come into odds on from absolutely nowhere generally means something has some sort of information we might be looking at him, it's likely for that to happen a quote has been asked for, provided and quite a large bet laid, the effect of this has pushed Hiddink, Lennon and MON out to very backable odds.

They can cause the odds to move however this is a 1k switch in the time it took for it to move and it came out of nowhere. Its inside info or its someone with a lot of disposable income who fancies a laugh.
