Isn't the helicopter based at the old Top Gear test track?

 

Can't remember the name of the place now, but it is an executive jet landing strip which guarantees confidentiality for people arriving.  Check back on this thread far enough and you will find the information.

 

It's not very confidential if Foxestalk are tracking the private jets and helicopter however !! lol

Yeah, bit tricky, that.   they probably cut the engines at about 2,000 feet and assumed the foetal position....

Dunsfold in Surrey. Not confidential aerodrone anymore. But still a populer landing pad for those who wish to avoid London.

As an aside it actually took off from a hospital.... could be that they've sold that helicopter or they're leasing it to help out a hospital? We are involved with Leicester Royal after all. 

 

Took off from Watford Hospital and landed at Charring Cross Hospital. 

 

I bet when there is something really urgent and the hospital doesn't have one they will call in private ones for favours.
