Fox92 Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Bought it today. Played one game so far and lost (no surprise there as always). A few changes again, but I find setting players for set pieces easier now.

Huth, Kasper, Moore, Albrighton and Mahrez are all still regular members of my team as I look to finish top five for the second year running. Vardy has been upgraded for the full release and is now even better although will also sell for twenty odd mil if you want to rebuild, as will Riyad. Normally I clear out all of the original players in the first two windows but really the only people I think are doggo from the start and very disappointing are Kante and Drinks who have been hard done to. Oh and Vichai pumps money in. I'd say we're a very good team to pick in the prem this year, whoever you support. I'm with you on this... we're good enough to be competitive but not quite good enough for it not to be a challenge for an FM addict to get stuck in to. I'm second season and about to hit December, first season dropped from 5th to 9th towards the end which was a shame and second season i'm currently 9th. Got 30 mill for Mahrez from Real Madrid.. haven't sold vardy because he's been injured A LOT and I haven't been on today so stats/value haven't gone back to an acceptable level.

I have a 433 with three actual strikers that I pull out for games against the big boys. Despite the three forwards it's got an extra central midfielder for a bit more solidity. Finnegan Posted 14 November 2015 Posted 14 November 2015 Yeah I was going to post something similar when I posted the formation screen shots. First three games I used the formation were something like 5 2, 5 1, 4 1, etc. I first put the formation together years ago, something like 2011? It was actually a lot more solid then, this was before the current position roles tactical set up. It was still free scoring mind. At the time, the raumdeuter was an IF and he was the leading scorer in the team. I tried it again the year before last and it wasn't as successful but interested the DLF has become the top scoring position. Now they seem to be flying in everywhere. A mix of the raumdeuter and the AF seem to be getting the majority but my dlf has been chipping in too. But it's really, really leaky. The attacking complete wing back on the left and the emptiness of the midfield won't help.

I have a beefcake gaming laptop and it still struggles with FM at times. Sounds like a jet aircraft taking off on transfer deadline day let alone in matches.

I've got a decent laptop but I ca practically switch the central heating off when playing FM and the house will still be warm. I use a cheap laptop stand which lifts it off the table and allows better ventilation around the base.
