srex9 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Anyone else constantly refreshing pages? I hate what the transfer window does to me now we're in the Prem! Chriiist!
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Short update http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/eng/inler-meeting-in-progress-between-agent-and-napoli/ The agent of Gokhan Inler is currently in discussions with Napoli over the sale of his client. With several teams from both England and Germany vying for his signature it seems shortly we should find out the players preference for next season. I'm sure we're not his preference but I guess it depends on who else has the finances to do the deal
enmac Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Just in case you're not exhausted by the constant references to Jennifer groans/moans here's some more: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FTZBudgvkdQ
shen Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Inler is not past it - not at all. When you look more closely, you'll see that fatigue may explain parts of the criticism aimed at him - that and/or the rotation system deployed by Benitez that saw Inler miss out on almost 40% of all Serie A games last season. It appears as if he's not had the confidence that he was used to under the same manager and the competition in the midfield coupled with three rather strenuous footballing years in between 2012 and 2015 (in excess of 150 games total with Napoli as well as the Swiss national football team) took its toll and saw him lose his freshness and tenacity to a certain extent. Similar situation in the national squad, where youngsters like Granit Xhaka or Fabian Frei challenge for a space in centre-mid. He did dare less on the pitch last season, be it in terms of shots on goal (not all-too required for a DM; but keep in mind he's two-footed and his long shots are usually something to be very afraid of) or passing - he's stayed put on the safe side with a lot of cautious and considerate sideways moves. Again, I suppose there's where confidence comes into play. But he's an engine, works tirelessly in his area and his tackling skills are excellent. Personally, I think he can go a long way with his stamina and perform on a top level even past the age of 35. He'd definitely act as an great link between defense and attack and stabilize as well as protect our midfield area with his vision and experience. Cheers, that's a very reassuring assessment. I thought Poulsen would be a success too at the time, but that quickly turned sour. I hadn't thought about the demanding schedule being a reason for his slipping down the pecking order. Hopefully, should we sign him, his batteries will be fully recharged. I won't bother replying to mozartfox or Ashley though, don't see what the point of their comments are.
FoxinNotts Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 He's not coming either apparently How do you come to this conclusion?

They are pretty legit source in Indonesia that's for sure. Fairly confident based on this tweet that this has come to a conclusion. Mods you can lock this one up.
MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Anyone know what he is saying In essence, Napoli representatives are currently in Milano, discussing terms with Inler's agent as well as meeting up with Empoli, who are scheduled to get Napoli's 24-year old midfielder Maiello on loan for one year. And that Napoli are willing to let Inler go for 6 million Euro.
Stevosevic Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Why would the news have broken in Indonesia before anywhere else?

I've seen numerous people on here and Social Media saying they do not want Inler as he is past it. In short they know nothing about Football
Grey Fox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 https://twitter.com/macanbola/status/630792992060674048 @(null): Leicester City Could Not Seek Surrender Inler http://t.co/OcCmd9EKOp Have you actually translated that link? I get this: "Leicester City reportedly not given up to land Napoli midfielder, Gokhan Inler, and re-bid before the summer transfer window closed. Swiss playmaker previously reported to have rejected the offer of manager Claudio Ranieri to leave the Partenopei, and prefer to move to fellow Italian clubs, Fiorentina However, as reported by Sky Sport Italia, the central Foxes hold further talks with the agent Inler. In addition to La Viola, allegedly Premier League clubs will also face competition from Schalke 04 and Besiktas. Ranieri's own target Inler to replace the role of Esteban Cambiasso at the King Power Stadium." I don't see anything that says he's rejected?
MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Why would the news have broken in Indonesia before anywhere else? Allegedly, they're always hours ahead of anybody else. Somebody quick consult Japanese football sites - or call an Aussie to the rescue.
Riot Van Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 That link just reiterates what has already been said.

FoxinNotts Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Have you actually translated that link? I don't see anything that says he's rejected? Me too. Thought I was going mad there for a minute! I don't read anything new or negative there?!
LinekersApples Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 I have just called my Aussie mate, and I can 100% confirm: He was in bed
st albans fox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Old news - fiorentina is his preferred move but they don't want him. Imagine that? A club not wanting to sign a player!

FoxinNotts Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 come on gokwan come play for us we're not that bad Yeah, just fuchin hurry up an sign, you knob
shen Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Ok. I will reply to you. I've seen numerous people on here and Social Media saying they do not want Inler as he is past it. In short they know nothing about Football I don't really follow Serie A and I haven't watched a lot of Europa League either, hence why I ask MC about his opinion, as I guessed he's seen plenty of Inler throughout his career and knows why last season wasn't exactly a successful one for him in the main. I think I know a fair bit more than "nothing" about football, but hey ho, I should come to expect off the cuff remarks like these on Foxestalk nowadays.
markie100 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 That'll be a Foxes head soon... Could be worse, it could be an ostrich!!!
