Haydos Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Schalke need to make up their minds. Do they want him or not? Still think we have a good chance of getting him as things stand. Nobody needs to do anything, there's still like 3 weeks of the transfer window left.
AyewJoking Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Nobody needs to do anything, there's still like 3 weeks of the transfer window left. Leicester City's transfer policy in a nutshell.
Rincewind Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Another 3 weeks of rumours. This thread could still make 100.
Haydos Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Leicester City's transfer policy in a nutshell. I'm fully confident we're doing all we can. We're honestly not a massive catch for a lot of players so them and their clubs will be looking after No. 1 in most cases. This means waiting. I think we'll see 1 or 2 more faces but not until the last 10-14 days of the window. It's not us that's causing delays, we're buying, it's the selling clubs and the players who think they could do better than us.

These players may find other clubs more appealing, but in my mind it doesn't mean we can't get them, it just means we have to overpay on every deal and wage until we are in a position where we are more appealing, I think most players have their price, if they get us where we want to be I wouldn't mind personally though
MC Prussian Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Another 3 weeks of rumours. This thread could still make 100. I don't know Ken - have you seen the Aranguiz thread yet?
Gerard Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 I don't mind waiting until then end of the transfer deadline, you're more likely to pick up a better quality player as his options run out. In King, Drinkwater & Kante we have options and we only have one game a week for the rest of the month. I know we have the League Cup but that's seeded and we'll be able to play squad players for that against lower league opposition.

fox_favourite Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Wow, it's all-so-quiet over here. I would have thought it would have been busier as isn't it rumoured that he'll make a decision today, or this week? Where as the Charles Aranguiz thread has over 130 pages!! I guess that's the fox talk logic!!

I guess that's the fox talk logic!! The Aranguiz thread already had over 100 pages prior to the last week or so. I think there's been so many misleading reports on both Inler and Aranguiz that the fans are tired of iut all. If he signs, he signs, if he doesn't then so be it. Can't be arsed.
Bagworthblue Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 more of the same really http://www.football-italia.net/70805/inler-decision-monday
sdb Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Don't know the player well enough and we do still need a CM imo, but is this guy going to be worth it? A 31 year old on the decline who doesn't want to be here? After watching DD and AK on Sat i'm starting to wonder if what they lack in technical quality in comparison to Inler, they'll more than make up for in every other department... Not sure, but a thought.

mozartfox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 I think a bit of creativity would be welcome. Seeing that Youth Team Centre Back playing in front of the West Ham back Line yesterday, is that something Liam could do as well as Kante?
sdb Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 For the billionth time, we were playing a dreadful Sunderland. So? Our style of play either caused or totally exploited that. Would Inler have done any more than our existing CM's?

I don't think he's good enough on the ball to play there to be honest

The agent of the Swiss , for its part , is said to have asked for a severance payment to the company of De Laurentiis to accept the destination and finally give up Schalke , which provides for the tag number 88 is not more than 4 million .
thybluefox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Sounds like they're trying to wrap it up. Expect us to drop interest in Aranguiz if we do get him.
lestajigs Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 On his way it seems Seems like I have heard thism, for the last 20 years
SB87_LCFC Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Still wondering if all this Inler talk is to try force Aranguiz's hand? didnt we do the same with Cambiasso and the McArthur bid before he went to Palace? Personally I like Aranguiz, mentioned him after the WC when we came up, but if he doesnt want it then so be it. Inler could well prove to be a top draw signing.
