lgfualol Posted 12 August 2015 Posted 12 August 2015 I saw him eating at a Spanish restaurant last night. Must have been meeting Iniesta.
Tuna Posted 12 August 2015 Posted 12 August 2015 Saw him at a chip shop the other day...must mean we are signing Joey Barton.
enmac Posted 12 August 2015 Posted 12 August 2015 Claudio at a Turkish restaurant isnt Inler part Turkish ? https://instagram.com/p/6TH8qZHUaz/Pedant speaking: both parents are Turkish. Not that it matters of course. Mixed parentage is good, maybe better as more likely to see 2 points of view.
RedSoxUK Posted 12 August 2015 Posted 12 August 2015 Just having a laugh Didn't realise it was you, carry on.
Hack Posted 12 August 2015 Posted 12 August 2015 True, remember some similar posts about Cambiasso before we signed him too exactly. I think it only fair that fans hold of on opinions about a players ability or suitability until we see first hand what he does. There is far to much negative posting about players our fans truly have no idea about.
Deucalion Posted 12 August 2015 Posted 12 August 2015 Pedant speaking: both parents are Turkish. Not that it matters of course. Mixed parentage is good, maybe better as more likely to see 2 points of view. Genuine question, why does he play for Switzerland then???
enmac Posted 12 August 2015 Posted 12 August 2015 Genuine question, why does he play for Switzerland then???According to wiki(?), it's because Switzerland has been good to him and he owes them for that.
enmac Posted 12 August 2015 Posted 12 August 2015 Genuine question, why does he play for Switzerland then???I don't know the real answer. Did Rooney ever consider playing for Ireland? Money?
MC Prussian Posted 12 August 2015 Posted 12 August 2015 Genuine question, why does he play for Switzerland then??? Because he's been born and grown up in Switzerland - he considers himself to be more Swiss than Turkish. He had the chance to play for Turkey on an international level, but declined. Also, after extended talks, Kuhn - the then-national manager - convinced Inler to feature for Switzerland instead back in 2006.
mozartfox Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 So apart from a rumor that CR went for a Kebab last night - nothing new to report comrades ?? May be he got off-loaded by EazyJet ? They are buggers for over-booking flights.
Itsthejoeker Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Turkish restuarant tonight in Leicester? I saw a tweet saying CR was at Kings Cross tonight !!! He was on the 715 from St Pancras
Rincewind Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 I'm going to be on the 9.01 to Sheffield but it does not mean I am going to sign for Sheffield Wednesday.

les-tah Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 what would Inler add to our midfielder? Genuine question ha ha i don't follow a huge amount of European football nor do i play football manager
FrankieADZ Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 hope we get this done soon, feels like all are transfers are becoming mini dramas.
MC Prussian Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 "I can live with despair, it's the hope that kills me": Suitcases in hand , ready to leave Naples . Gokhan Inler is one of the possible starters , but the destination is still not clear . Or maybe not . In these minutes there is a new contact between Christian and Guintoli Dino Lamberti , the player's agent . Flat on the future of the Swiss , on which is always alive the pressure of Leicester . There is optimism in the success of the negotiations with the British company , which offered six million plus bonuses . He is currently in wide advantage over opponents ( Besiktas and FC Schalke 04 ) , the player seems to have decided to accept the goal . Inler to England , Leicester is the idea alive. http://gianlucadimarzio.com/calciomercato/inler-leicester-cresce-lottimismo-le-ultime/

Deano did well last season but I think his legs are really going to struggle this one.

Nick Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Inler said yes to Leicester, to pick up a large sum into the coffers of Naples It seems to have come to a conclusion the push and pull between Gokhan Inler and Leicester. The Swiss midfielder, as reported by Sky Sports, said to have succumbed to the lure of the English club and is about to marry in the Premier League. In this sense it was essential for the success of the negotiations, the work of Claudio Ranieri (Leicester coach, ed) who called every day for the Swiss renew its estimate. On Inler they were also Schalke 04 and Besiktas, but in the end the winner was the English club. The Naples can be satisfied with the decision: Neapolitan coffers will help bring € 6 million plus bonuses. The operation is really winding down and the parties filters optimism, the deal could close with the trappings of officialdom in the coming hours.
Bamba's Babes Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 How does he play, is he defensive or attacking? Does he have an engine?
