Countryfox Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 No doubt he should have scored in the build up to Vardy's goal. .... and thats what he's there for
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Thought he did well when he came on today, looked promising. I can still see quality in him and I reckon once he scores his confidence could be great.
Great Boos Up Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Scored at Arse away so good player management from CR to put him on to encourage his confidence. Done it before / do it again. However, he didn't score and as Countryfox just said " that's what he's there for". If CR didn't play him what would half us be saying now. Chance given, chance gone, at a game where a loss would be accepted. Your move Claudio, you clever old Italian.
Clever Fox Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Funnily I thought he looked good after coming on today. On Tuesday he was pure Garbage. I don't blame him for the miss as it was more a fantastic save from Cech than a miss. If he can produce on a regular basis what he did today then I think he might make the grade after all.
psychonaut Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Didnt make the bench again. I wanted and still want it to work out with krammy here at city so much - but the reality is its not.. For whatever reason he's clearly not favoured by CR. Whether thats down to his performance in training, not fitting our style of play or just that CR doesnt rate him. For him personally - if he's not going to be involved - which isnlooking more likely with each passing week - it must be sh1tty. He must surely be thinking it may have been a fvck up to come here. With ulloa and fuchs now getting a little more involved it seems krammy is the one left behind

With ulloa and fuchs now getting a little more involved it seems krammy is the one left behind I wouldn't be surprised if Ulloa starts next game, Kram moved up to bench and Okazaki dropped if we will have 2 defenders on the bench. I laughed though on MOTD when Okazaki was taken off you can see Kram in the background looking pissed as hell Also I hope he realises that if he isn't getting in our squad there would be no way in hell he would get in Chelsea's squad, as long as he gets his head down in training and takes his chances in the cup games then i can see him getting fairly consistent game time after January maybe sooner,
filbertstreet Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 I think the reason Claudio's picking Okazaki every week even though he's not getting goals/assists is the effort he's putting in, from the few games Kram's played this season he's not been anywhere near as involved as Shinji
TheMightySystem Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 I think the reason Claudio's picking Okazaki every week even though he's not getting goals/assists is the effort he's putting in, from the few games Kram's played this season he's not been anywhere near as involved as Shinji Correct me if im wrong because most of the time when Kram plays i only have radio to listen to but Eliot complains that Kram always retreats too deep to get the ball so it sounds like Kram gets quite involved in the games without the ball. Not having a go just asking if he actually does that?
foxfanazer Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Doesn't seem to fit in with our style amd ethos. Don't know if it's just me that thinks this but whenever I've seen him play he looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders
Frank to be Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Okazaki tracked back to deep inside our half to win the ball that set Schlupp up for the 2nd goal. You're unlikely to get that from Kramaric.
lgfualol Posted 3 October 2015 Posted 3 October 2015 Kram barely runs and isn't quick which is really bad for us. I still want him to do well for us but at the moment looks like a dud.
Heymister2015 Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 I'd like Austin! He's not all about speed neither! But him and vardy would be one hell of a partnership
filbertstreet Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 I reckon him and Inler'd work really good together when they both get a proper chance
BoyJones Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 Okazaki tracked back to deep inside our half to win the ball that set Schlupp up for the 2nd goal. You're unlikely to get that from Kramaric. Okazaki hasn't had any real credit for winning that ball back which was crucial to setting up the second goal. I think he and Vardy are a superb front two, with Ulloa to come on later, although Ulloas defensive skills on the floor are a bit suspect. I thought Krameric looked good early on, but not sure what he has to offer at the moment. He had his chance against West Ham but blew it really.
Grewks Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 I reckon him and Inler'd work really good together when they both get a proper chance Based on what exactly? Do they get on with each other on the bench?? He just isn't the striker we require....i would much rather someone in the mould of Benik Afobe. A young and mobile complete striker, a compromise between ulloa and vardy. Kram just doesn't have the pace, strength or aerial threat required to be a decent forward at this level.......even his finishing isn't that clinical.
FireFox Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 Let's face it... he's another shit Pearson signing who can't even get on the bench. I'm just glad he isn't truly our record signing.

They play the same sort of game more passy and not runny forwardy
Matt Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 I can't quite remember but i'm sure when we signed him people were going on about and reports from Croatian media/Rijeka fans were that speed was one of his main attributes. Infact barring strength and that he needed to bulk up (Which in time would come) i'm sure he was thought to be the complete player (Or not far off).

I'm just glad he isn't truly our record signing. :D :D :D Imagine having players of the quality of Was and Kram not making the squad and using it to have a dig at the old manager. Got to laugh.

Yeah f-uc__k him, Okazaki have more japan fans and produces more money to sponsors. Okazaki, Okazaki, Okazaki !!! We love you, you are the best, you are going to win Ballon d'Or, Ronaldo has notthing on you.
Frank to be Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 Okazaki is a proven striker in a top European league while kramaric hasn't really done anything as a footballer yet, so yeah I'd expect more support for Okazaki. The more I see of kramaric the more it looks like he was a panic buy, and a poor one at that. He looks like a £2m player. Hope he comes good but there are precious few signs that he will.
adam1 Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 Kramaric has the potential to be a very good player. I wouldn't write him off just yet.

Hope he comes good but there are precious few signs that he will. What do you mean the more you see of him? You have seen **** all of him, just like the rest of us. Its not fair to judge him. In his last game he was actually on the pitch (started) he scored, I don't know what you expect of him other than to crock Vardy and Okazaki in training to get some game time. Until our other strikers dip in form or get injured he isn't going to get on the pitch. Even if he impresses in training. It don't make him a dud or a shit player.
maddog Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 The number of people writing Kramaric off seems to be growing. He hasn't really been given an opportunity to shine since signing so far. Unfortunately for him his arrival in January coincided with our woeful run and the games he started he was often the lone striker completely isolated, we weren't having much possession to supply him with anything but scraps at best, isolated scraps. His first seven appearances for us in the Premier League were two 1-0 home defeats (Stoke, Palace) and the 0-0 at home to Hull, along with away games at Man City (0-2), Man United (1-3), Everton (2-2), and Arsenal away where he scored and in all fairness should have scored a second. Of course our all out winning run at the end of the season was when Pearson changed tactics and Ulloa and Vardy were the front two, Kramaric was taken out of the side. Perhaps he would have bagged a few more goals had he been in the side during the winning run, justifying his price a bit more and gaining personal confidence and that of the fans. He was thrown in at the Premier League deep end into a side losing nearly every week operating as the lone striker, if anything he did well just to get a goal at Arsenal. This year he's scored at Bury and should have scored against West Ham and probably Arsenal in his substitute appearance. However his confidence must be low, he needs game time to gain confidence and get into his stride. Whether he will get game time with the superb form of Vardy and persistence/determination of Okazaki remains to be seen, but he certainly should not be written off. Look how far Vardy has come for evidence of the benefits of game time/experience in the Premier League. Kramaric has massive potential, he's still only 24. When Vardy was his age he was playing for Fleetwood. He should be supported now by all the fans and hopefully he too will fulfil his potential.
