Bury- Capital One Cup pre-match

Normally I'd be against wholesale changes but the squad is strong, some would argue that the players coming in will be our first choice at some point.

Keep kasper in goal, need Fuchs and chilwell to play so someone will have to play out of position, maybe Fuchs on left wing.

Don't want to risk mahrez injury but you also want him to keep playing when he's on this form.

If the players are up for it then we wil win. Bury look decent though, they score a few goals.

Having thought about it again I think Ranieri will play 4-4-2 as per the first team and get players used to our system. I'm sure he'll rest all our first XI as Bournemouth have shown to be competitive at this level and not to be taken lightly. It would be fantastic to go into the international break with ten points so:

Schwarzer

Benalouane Was Moore Chilwell

Kante Hammond Inler Fuchs

Ulloa Kramaric

A couple of players slightly out of position there but Kante played left midfield yesterday and Fuchs is supposed to be an attacking full back so should enjoy playing a bit further forward.

Think we'dbe stupid to use ANY of our starting XI, with the possible exception of Kasper.

I've not forgotten Shrews last year, but we're now in a totally different position. We can rotate the entire team and still be a bloody force.

Kram and Ulloa need game time - don't forget that Ulloa was our top scorer last season, and definitely has more to offer.

I'd like to see Benny and Fuchs start to see what they can really do, and Moore and Chilwell too on the back of their decent pre-season. Throw in Was too, assuming we're going for the usual formation.

Inler and Kante to start in the middle for me, with Hammond to come on early second half to replace Inler, save him for next Saturday but get more of an idea of just how good he is.

Personally I wouldn't play Inler

Get a better idea of how the rest of the team will play around him in a competitive game. There's aways a risk of injury of course in these type of matches, but can't wrap 'em in cotton wool.

opportunity for kramaric to get some well needed game time. Not played a minutes football this season yet - he really should be getting the full 90 v bury. He shouldve got at least half an hour v spurs!

Cup competitions are vital. It gives the manager the chance to use different players and styles, whilst a good run is a confidence booster for the squad.

I'm looking forward, with interest, to seeing the team sheet.

Really hope Schlupp, Mahrez and Albrighton are rested. Yes, I know they're professional athletes and all that, but they're being asked to do so much running at the mo and they are also very important and we've not a lot of cover for them.

Fuchs, Kante, Benalouane, Inler, Kramaric and Ulloa will all start in my opinion. Other than that I'll be interested to see how line up.

With the recent strength added to our squad we should have more than enough to beat Bury with the opportunity to play some younger players too.

I want to see changes, but not necessary all 11.One reason is to see if Claudio and squad can accomodate different plans

and tactics, but still keeping to the basic idea thats been created.

I would like to see Ulloa and Krameric start, but they need to have a Mahrez or an Albrighton to feed from.

Kante to get his 1st full game. Inlar early 2nd half sub.Clsudio should tinker....

I think Kante, Inler, Benalouane, Wasilewski, Chilwell, Fuchs, Ulloa, Kramaric, Moore and Hammond have to start.

Have a mixture of youth and best attacking players on the bench. That way you can blood youngsters if it's going well, or bring on a Mahrez or Vardy if we need a goal.

The players we haven't used much yet really should be too much for Bury, though.

             Schmeichel/Maddison

Moore  Wasilewski  Benalouane  Chilwell

Kante    Hammond        Inler          Fuchs

              Kramaric        Ulloa

We really do need a new RB and a new winger, hate seeing players play out of position but looks like we're gonna have to... Can see CR playing 3 at the back but still don't kno who will play the RWB role, we seem to have an abundance down the left side tho

I agree that we need to bring in as many of the new boys and fringe players as possible. However the cups offer us by far our best chance for silverware as well as fixtures to play some of these players in. So I'd like us to put out a strong team and try to progress.

I would leave Mahrez out for this game.  Lower league defenders will go in hard on these types of players to try and shut them up.

Kasper

Moore

Was

Bene

Fuchs

Kante

Drinkwater

Albrighton

Kram

Ulloa

Shinji
