Long Eaton Fox Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Schwartzer Moore Was Benalouane Chilwell Kante Hammond Inler Fuchs Kramaric Ulloa
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Surely this is the one time that "Do do do do Matty Fryatt David Nugent Joseph Dodoo", is actually acceptable.Indeed good choice
Captain... Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 I forgot about Simpson, be interesting to see if he is in his plans at all, he played a couple of pre-season games. Could be a 523 Simpson Benny Was Moore Fuchs Inler Kante Dodoo Ulloa Krama Unless Hammond is in his plans then 433 Moore Benny Was Fuchs Inler Hammond Kante Dodoo Ulloa Krama Hopeful a mixture of youth and first teamers on the bench, if we need a goal we can bring on Vardy/Mahrez, if we are cruising we can bring on Chilwell and any other academy lad off the bench.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Liam Moore could nail down the right back spot if given a run of games there Over RDL and now Benny?
Lambert09 Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Can't believe people want Moore to play right back. He's shocking there, cant pass the ball. He relies on his physicality and putting his body on the line. He's a center half, plain and simple. He looks like a fish out of water when he's in any form of attacking position and as a full back in our system you need to be able to attack. Cant say I think Benalouanne will be much better though.
dominicmsb Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Liam Moore could nail down the right back spot if given a run of games there Technically not good enough at the level we are at to be a right back.
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Bury score and leak goals for fun. I can see this being 3-3 or summat.
The whole world smiles Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Technically not good enough at the level we are at to be a right back. He's 22 mate Vardy at his age was working in a factory.
Ric Flair Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 He's 22 mate Vardy at his age was working in a factory. But Moore has never been anything but a makeshift right back. He's a centre half. I'd LUMP a lot of money on BTTS in this one, we love shipping a goal against dross.
ealingfox Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 If Ranners is starting our Academy forwards here ahead of one of Ulloa or Kramaric then perhaps that man's Leicester career is dead as a Dodoo.
Hack Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Technically not good enough at the level we are at to be a right back. I am guessing he gets on at sometime tonight.
Hack Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 I think he will have a mix of the guys who haven't played in the first team squad and some of the Kids.
SB87_LCFC Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 I think we may play 4-3-3, with Kante dropping infront of Liam if we revert to 4-4-2: Schwarzer Moore Benalouane Was Fuchs Kante Hammond Inler Kramaric Ulloa Dodoo subs: Maddison, Chilwell, RDL, Drinky, Albrighton, Panayiotou, Okazaki I would like to see Panayiotou get a game, am I right he wasnt involved with the U21's last night?
Lambert09 Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Is there a tiny chance that this game would be streaming on a website somewhere? A friend of a friend was asking
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Schwarzer Benny Moore Wasyl Chilwell Kante Hambo Inler Fuchs Kram Leo
Thracian Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Quite why we have such a flippant attitude towards this cup competition escapes me. It's a long time since we've won anything other than Academy competitions so a change of attitude might be timely. Ranieri will already have a good idea of people's abilities - and won't really need a game at Bury to remind him. What we need to be working on is integration within the systems of play we intend to use to be successful. With that in mind I see little to be gained from wholesale changes. To field another team would be to have two teams within the same squad and I don't see how that would encourage cohesion. Fringe players need to be integrated into the first team set-up - and there is scope for that tonight - but our first intention should be winning and the Cup embarrassments of recent seasons - including losing against Burton Albion - should have driven the message home once and for all. We've paved the way with results we've had since the beginning of April - but we need to start winning trophies too - or at least competing - because that is what writes our history and that's what will drive us further towards the European dream we're chasing.
les-tah Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Schwarzer Benny Moore Wasyl Chilwell Kante Hambo Inler Fuchs Kram Leo surely we have purchased Kante to play out wide when Hammond clearly isn't even in the plans this year. lol

I agree, but with such a large squad and players that will expect to play (Inler, Kanté, Kramaric, Ulloa, Fuchs) the manager will not get as low-risk an opportunity as this to see these players for 90 minutes of competitive football. Likewise with the promising youngsters (Chilwell, Dodoo, Barmby). We have momentum in the league, so you could argue that it isn't vital that we win today.
Foxymcoxy Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 For Dodoo we should just sing Darude - Sandstorm. No words needed.

Of the 11 expected players: 5 of them cost £30m + Of the rest 3 are full internationals and Hammond (experienced) Moore (England U21 and about 100 games at Championship level) Dodoo Bournemouth is a more important game and we're utilising the squad to give the players the best preparation we can for that game but my no means are we giving up on the league cup. That team will still be head and shoulders above Bury, whether we win or not isn't as clear cut. If you look back on this thread and see the team that lost to Shrewsbury last year then this team is miles ahead.

ThracI don't think we are being flippant about this cup. I would love to see us win it again. The second string we are capable of putting out this season seems stronger overall than previous seasons so I would trust the managers decision. We will see having said that as the application has to be spot on aswell
dominicmsb Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Liam Moore started 0 games as right back last season. He came on for de Laet for one game against Southampton and got a yellow card 4 minutes later. He went on loan and played CB for Brentford. Had a look what position he played for the U21s and that was CB too. But interestingly he played CDM for one game against Man City U21. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/2482043 I think it's safe to presume he won't be a top right back just from this alone but have you ever seen him play right back? Looks super uncomfortable but thats just my opinion.
Psihobambi Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Half of these players want to show Ranieri that they belong in first XI. I can't see us losing this
