Matt Posted 5 September 2015 Author Share Posted 5 September 2015 I may stop watching if vardy goes off... This, Vardy playing is literally the only reason i'm watching, it's a ****ing diabolical match, on a parr with the ROI friendly, he's goes off, my TV goes off. eastendfox Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 Harsh on Vardy, makes his full England debut on a pitch the likes of which he probably hasn't played on since he was at Stocksbridge, against opponents of the same sort of calibre. I think he's doing ok, just trying to actually control the ball and find someone else with his passes. But being out on the left doesn't really suit him. TJB-fox Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 Luke Shaw just give Vardy the ****ing ball you overpriced flop
CosbehFox Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 Harry Kane is better than Vardy at growing facial hair that looks like singed pubes stuck to your chops with Pritt Stick and mouth breathing He'd be useless on the left wing I remember Kane on the left wing here as a part of 3. Not one of Nige's finest moments.
Guest ttfn Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 I do not believe that was the debate. Of course that's the debate, somebody wanted to bring Kane on. Hodgson wants to play 4-3-3.
Shamomoa Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 I've noticed this. He needs to be more greedy when he gets the ball, he's laying it off and making a run perfect for the one touch return but Shaw and Barkley take too long on the ball then end up losing it or have the pass intercepted. Yes! I noticed this a few times. It looks to me like they think the same as most other fans, that he's not good enough... He needs to just take them on! Benguin Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 Same old crappy England made watchable by our jamie who no one seems to pass too.
Danno Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 Never get why people complain about Vardy, he's better than some lazy twat like Berahino or Danny Ings who can't get a game for Liverpool, or Ashley Young who the only thing he can do is cut onto his right foot and blast it into orbit. Corky Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 Dull stuff, scored through a mysteriously given penalty and an own goal, the touch of many players has been awful, the shooting has been shocking, Shelvey's done quite well. Vardy's gaining a cap but little else, a headache most likely given the knocks he's had. This game isn't suiting him at all.
Guest ttfn Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 I think he's doing alright - not sure why people are whinging nobody is passing him the ball, he's seen a fair amount of it.

Grewks Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 Of course that's the debate, somebody wanted to bring Kane on. Hodgson wants to play 4-3-3. No the debate is who is the better player.....position was not even discussed. Given that Vardy and Kane both lead their clubs as a number 9, they're both strikers and kane superior. Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 He's keeping the ball quite cleverly and he's made one or two promising runs behind a dense and deep (oi oi) defence on a pitch that isn't fit for purpose. Hope he isn't switched at half time and nets.
Fatbloke Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 If the Kane arse lickers want him on fine, but it has to be instead of Rooney, there is no way he could play the role Vards is being asked to play.
FireFox Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 ITV actually showing good analysis on Vardy there...Would have had the assist to get Rooney to 50 if it wasn't for the shit pitch!

Richmondfox Posted 5 September 2015 Share Posted 5 September 2015 I think he's doing alright - not sure why people are whinging nobody is passing him the ball, he's seen a fair amount of it. It's not whinging but analysis. He's doing alright, it's the others not supporting him with simple first time passes. I suppose we are just spoilt with watching our fast attacking football every week.
