RedSoxUK Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Agreed. We'll be chasing shadows against Arsenal so having an outlet in Ulloa seems sensible to me. This.
FoxInTheBox89 Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 At least people cant say we didnt give Inler a go but right now hes a liability and needs dropping
foxes_rule1978 Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 So you'd leave out our top goalscorer and most potent creative force?? Weird... Mahrez scored 5 and has 3 assists to his name in just 6 games... would be mental to leave him out
Foxhateram Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 He has hardly 'tinkered' and it hasn't cost us any points. In fact it's won more than we would have had. The reason we haven't won 6 out of 6 is the back four. I would say completely changing a midfield that stormed the first few games is tinkering pretty heavily. Kante admittedly is a positive change. He tried to put benluane in defence in the first few games and was lucky to not have cost us points. If we started the second half team today I honestly think we would have won that game convincingly. Stoke looked average and didn't bother us much in the second half. His subs have saved the last two games but the question is. Should he have changed the team in the first place? No. King, Kante and drinky should 100 percent be our midfield 3. On form that is just fact.
Gary Eatfood Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Mahrez scored 5 and has 3 assists to his name in just 6 games... would be mental to leave him out You would need to be sectioned. Immediately. And never let out.
pazzerfox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 I'd play Inler against West Ham and then rest him for the Arsenal game. 2 class finishes cost us against Villa 2 individual mistakes cost us today. Great result though, Huth was class, Mahrez got snuffed out well, but that is a good point at the Brittania. Stoke are a big strong side that can play a bit and they will win more than they lose at home. Can't wait for us to get stuck into Arsenal!!
Foxhateram Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 So you'd leave out our top goalscorer and most potent creative force?? Weird... Oops major blunder there. Swap okazaki for mahrez and play him in just behind vardes. My bad.
fuchsntf Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Ranieri might think...lets play the players, who still need to kick start their season, if it doesnt work... Hell we just send in the Cavalary....
surrifox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Next week is a conundrum. Surely need 5 in midfield against the arse. Can only do that with a three man defence. But CR won't do that.

surrifox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 They had 2 sent off today and a few injuries - must give us a shout
Buce Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 The thing that's starting to annoy me is that Ranieri clearly isn't picking the right starting lineups in order too fit Inler into the side. He's clearly not up to the required standard yet and we can't afford the luxury of having him in the side - these comebacks aren't going to happen every week. This. We are a much better side with Kanté in the middle.
ronnup Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 We can beat arsenal. We can beat anyone. Where as I do think it'd be dangerous to play our usual game against them would it be any less dangerous to sit and let them dictate the pace. May as well play our game
what? Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Inler can't take the pace. He'd fit us better as a sub to come on and lock down games that we're winning.
pazzerfox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 No they didn't. You won't be saying that when we lose the league title by goal difference!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Did Kante's injury look bad? The commentator on my stream said it looked like a bit of cramp, he was on a yellow too and had been everywhere for the best part of 80 minutes.
Guest Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 This team will be the death of me. No , that's a knife through the chest. I saw the film.
Guest Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Inler and Okazaki out, Leo and Alrbighton in. Can't see the love for Ulloa. He's too slow for our style of play. Okazaki has been much better than people are making out. He does so many little things (like Vardy).

You can pin point errors in all 4 goals. That is CR'S job on the match analysis with the players though. I wouldn't play Inler against West Ham at all. They will play in a similar way to Stoke and Villa. Obviously he can't keep up with the pace of that type of game. The Arsenal game is more like the game he would probably do ok in, slower build up play where Inler can read the game and intercept passes. Rather than fast paced reflex based football like today. Overall though, a good result today at the Britania. Tough place to get any points. Shane we couldn't have gone at them from the off instead.
Merging Cultures Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Next game please: Kasper RDL - Huth - Wes Albrighton - Kante - Drinkwater - Schlupp Mahrez Vardy - Ulloa
Guest Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Next game please: Kasper RDL - Huth - Wes Albrighton - Kante - Drinkwater - Schlupp Mahrez Vardy - Ulloa Next game Kramaric et al will be playing - it's Tuesday in the cup.

Ranieri changed it around and we got a very good point.

Great position to be in with Kramaric as well I like Ulloa but he's very much a second option when we need to punt it up front. He doesn't have the speed to play the game that's winning for us - sadly.
