Babylon Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Can't see the love for Ulloa. He's too slow for our style of play. Okazaki has been much better than people are making out. He does so many little things (like Vardy). Okazaki hasn't done enough for me. Seems too easy to handle for oppo defenders. That's why I went with Ulloa, whilst not setting the world on fire last two I think defenders found him harder to handle.

For me Okazaki pressures players and makes some beautiful moves he's also fast enough and brave enough to get on the end of the crosses. Ulloa is better for a game where we can control play and have time for him to get in the box. Perhaps we should try Krammy then.
Foxhateram Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 We did. Then gave two sloppy goals away. Ranieri changed it around and we got a very good point. You mean he put on players that are able to play box to box (our game) because of their pace and reading of the game? Which he should have done from the start? Which was the point I was making?

You said "shame we didn't go at them from the off" which I thought was a bit of an odd thing to say considering we did go at them from the off and looked more likely to score before the shambolic 10 minutes.
Max Power Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Probably the most entertaining team in the league. So exciting going forward and we keep it interesting with de Laet back there. Love this team
americanfox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 For Arsenal: (3-5-2) Kasper Morgan, Huth, ??? (Benalouane?) Schlupp, Albrighton Kanté, Drinkwater Mahrez, Vardy Ulloa Bench: Schwarzer, Fuchs, RDL, King, Inler, Kram, Okazaki
foxinsox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Ulloa to start against Arsenal. He holds the ball up well for layoffs to Vardy or Mahrez and gives us another option at setpieces. He is also good at defending at setpieces too, several good clearances for us when defending corners. Arsenall have some suspensions, Spurs in the Cup midweek and Olympiakos (Cambiasso!) to deal with in the CL on the 29th. It seems a good time to be playing them!
Larry_LCFC Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Totally different team without Inler. Not up to the pace of our game at the minute and too much of a stroller. We were so much better without him. Albrighton, DD, Kante and Mahrez need to be midfield. Prefer Ulloa over Shinji and Da Laet is having a torrid time. Got to stop leaking goals.
deep blue Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Tinker man again does the correct subs at the correct time. WE ARE UNBEATEN!!! On the other hand, Tinkerman makes the same mistakes in his team selection and formation at the start, but realises his error (again).
deep blue Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 I don't know whether to be happy with the spirit or disappointed that we keep we going behind. But as long as we are picking up points I don't care. Need to accept our defence isn't good enough until January, and keep playing to our strengths. We may get beat occasionally but we will score goals. Our defence was more than adequate (let in 5 out of 9, I think) at the end of last season when we played with 3 CBs and wing backs. Does Ranieri know this?
J.Lisemore Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Inler seriously needs to step up to our game, your not in Serie A anymore Gokhan.
cambridgefox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 As others have said would taken that before KO and at HT you would Definetely been chuffed with that. Inler off his game and needs to step up,he obviously has class but hasn't shown us any of that yet, therefore I would start him against West Ham in the cup to try and give him some form/confidence.
Master Fox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 We're finishing in the top 4 this season.
HoustonFox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Playing 532/352 will nullify our best player in Mahrez and defeat the point of having 3 in the middle as he needs to roam and drift from the right. 442 is our best option with an engine in the middle of DD and NG. The weakness is that our wingers don't track back and the full backs like to both bomb on. If we had more patience, only one of them would go at once. Also, both of them are not the best defenders in the world to make up for it. Most of the goals we have conceded are by being caught out on the wings. Wing backs guarantees a 2 on 1 all the time. I like Shinji for the Arsenal game actually. This is his sort of game with less physicality and he can drop off to make an extra man in the middle and press Cazorla and Coquelin. Leo is still more of an impact sub for me still and breaks up our all out pace, which against the Gunners, we'll really need. I'd start same team but Albrighton for Inler and keep Riyad on the right.
foxfanazer Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Fantastic comeback but we really have to play a first half! Wonder why we're starting so poorly? Drinkwater and Kante were superb again today. Vardy class as always
steveherbe Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 the only undefeated? Exactly. Man City losing 2 0 at home to Wham. Currently we are the only UNBEATEN team in the PL! Can you believe it, 32 more unbeaten and we should be safe. But this is Leicester, anything could happen ( to quote Ian Stringer)

steveherbe Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Wasnt Cazorla sent off today? Does he miss our game or the Carling Cup game? Great just 3 points behind man city if West Ham hold on But down to 3rd, Wham go above us.

Kasey Keller Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Wonder how our opening fixtures would have gone with cambiasso still here?!! Come on i bet a few has thought about this
Harry - LCFC Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 I think Ranieri can be held most responsible for the first half. It was the wrong team selection. We were exposed so easily on both flanks because neither fullback got cover and got themselves out of position too often. Kante was having to go out wide where he didn't want to be. Inler was mediocre again. I expected us to get back in the game when I saw Albrighton warming up. Right formation second half, wrong formation in the first. I think it really was that simple.
Fox92 Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Loved today. Third visit for me and still haven't seen us lose there. First half we were poor, Claudio got it wrong, but second half he changed it and it worked. Kante and Drinkwater were superb, in particular.
