HAS to be a back three in my opinion, the sensible thing would be to play Fuchs, Huth and either Morgan/Benny. I'd like to see us set up like this.

Kasper

Benny

Huth

Fuchs

Dyer

Kante

Drinkwater

Schlupp

Mahrez

Okazaki

Vardy.

Arsenal's Best Time To Face Leicester City Is Now

http://paininthearsenal.com/2015/09/23/best-time-arsenal-face-leicester-city-now/

Typical Arsenal fan, I used to live in Finsbury Park and my mates and other Arsenal fans have the same arrogant view until the new year and reality sets in.  All they can hope for is stuffing lower teams and beating Spurs.

Strange angle on his fan page opinion piece, praising us to start with but then saying it could be a game for Arsenal to start scoring and getting back to winning ways, yet what he has just written would suggest the opposite.  It's funny how he noted that we have let in 5 goals in our last 3 games, but we also didn't lose any of those games and in those games scored more than they have all season.  Pick the stats to suit your view.

I'm expecting a 2-2 at the worst but would love to get the win.

Re; Schlupp, he might like to get forward but if he's tackled he has the pace to get back.  I'm hoping Wenger has the same knowledge of our squad that the fans do.

Nathan Dyer still out this weekend according to Claudio

Albrighton come back in? Or could push Jeff further forward and play Fuchs at LB..

Bugger, would have liked him available. Fuchs at left back and keep Jeff on the bench so we have pace second half to come on.

Albrighton was in the top 3 speed stats too so he would have pace to come on with also

I thought Albrighton played well when he came on vs Stoke and also against West Ham.

At this point in time I think he'd start ahead of Dyer either way.

Whilst an extra time game is hardly ideal preparation, I don't buy that it should influence Fuchs or Ulloa starting - they've hardly kicked a ball in anger since May. At this stage of the season, they should be fine.

Kasper / RDL - Huth - Morgs - Fuchs / Mahrez - DD - Kante - Schlupp / Vards and Ulloa for me. Giving up posting anything other than 4-4-2 offerings!!

The ball has to go up top and stick against these. That's Ulloa for me. Fuchs' delivery from set-piece could be crucial against top teams where, realistically, chances are likely to be harder to come by.

Stat time

Riyad Mahrez has had a hand in eight goals (five goals, three assists) in the Premier League this season; more than any other player.

Only once in the 18 Premier League meetings have Arsenal failed to score against Leicester.

The Foxes haven't beaten Arsenal since their debut season in the Premier League in 1994/95 (W1 D6 L11).

Leicester have come from behind to salvage at least a point in four successive Premier League games - only one team has managed a longer run than this in PL history; Everton's six game run between Sept-Nov 2012.

Arsenal have converted just 6.1% of their shots in the Premier League this season; a lower ratio than any other team.

Santi Cazorla has created the most goalscoring chances (23) and completed the most passes (471) in the Premier League this season.

Jamie Vardy has scored in three successive Premier League games for the first time.

The Foxes have won as many points in their last 15 Premier League games (34 - W10 D4 L1) as they had in their previous 48 matches in the competition before this run (34 - W6 D16 L26).

Including blocked shots, Alexis Sanchez has had more attempts at goal than any other player in the Premier League this season (31) but is yet to score.

This game pits the team with the highest proportion of long passes in 2015-16 - Leicester (21.3%) against the team with the lowest proportion - Arsenal (7.4%).

Arsenal still great with Alexis in goal and Cech up front, says Ranieri

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri believes Arsenal would be a major force regardless of their line-up.

Claudio Ranieri realises Leicester City face an uphill task against Arsenal at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Leicester currently sit fourth in the table, two points ahead of this weekend's opponents, yet Ranieri has acknowledged that Arsenal have more individual quality.

"Arsene can put Alexis Sanchez in goal and Petr Cech up front and Arsenal will still have a great team," the Leicester boss said at a press conference.

Leicester have come from behind to salvage at least a point in four successive Premier League games and Ranieri is keen for his men to prevent falling behind on Saturday.

"It’s not easy to score goals when you go behind in matches. I’ve told the players how important concentration is," he said.

Ranieri's men needed extra time to see off West Ham in the League Cup in midweek, yet the Italian does not fear fatigue affecting his side.

"I’m very proud of my players. It’s not easy to be at your best in every game, but they’ve played magnificently," he said.

"The players that have played in the cup have recovered well. I'll check on them Friday and then pick the team.

"The players know me very well and the understand my philosophy. I like to joke, but I like to work too. That’s when I shout."

Two solid banks of four. Wingers who can defend and attack quickly on the counter. Mahrez in a free role causing all sorts of problems and Vardy being Vardy.

I'd go with this 11. Looks very strong!
