Vardy's finishing

Getting seriously good. Top scorer in the league with 6 is it?

Needs a year to settle every time he makes a step up and then looks brilliant.

Scored with two efforts that were infinitely more difficult than the header he smacked off the bar at 1-0.

he's got the confidence to take his time with the shot.

excellent today could easily have had 4.

If only that header had gone in or the effort of the post I feel it would have been a different match.

Vardy fully deserves a spot on the plane for the euros

Emphatic finishing from him today. It's definitely improved immeasurably.

If he's not in the next England call up it'll be a travesty.

He was close to getting a hattrick today near the end. Not to mention the header he bounced off the crossbar.

Looked to me like he couldn't quite get a proper jump between the defenders for the header, so got under it slightly? I'd say it was quite a difficult chance given his height.

Looking our best striker by a long way. Would really like to see him and Ulloa start a few together. Think there's plenty of goals to be had between them.

He's the kind of player who needs to struggle before improving - it's like he needs to be totally written off in order to prove people wrong!

- had a dreadful first season for us in the Championship & was written off

- was shown faith by Pearson, he worked on his game, came back the next season and was rampant with Nugent:

16 goals in our Championship year, Christ knows how many assists and penalties he won for us (did we get 20 pens overall?)

- first start in the PL he had 2 assists, won 2 penalties and scored against Man Utd's "superstars"

- struggled for the rest of the reason but hit form towards the end - 3 goals and 3 assists as well as a massive improvement his overall play was a massive contribution to our survival

- called up by Hodgson to the consternation and disgust of every non-Leicester fan, most of whom had probably never seen him play.

Had only 17 minutes in a drab, dull and pointless end of season friendly in Dublin, seemed out of sorts in a game not really tailored to his strengths against San Marino on a Sunday League pitch.

- starts new season with 6 goals in 7 games.

His form is astonishing. I don't think his confidence has ever been higher! He's only failed to score in 2 games this season and he could quite easily have had a hattrick today.

Hodgson needs to keep picking him and giving him time - he could be a hero for England in the Euros if he gets the chance

He's looking so sharp.

Lets hope it doesn't stop.

This was one of the positives from today, I thought both his goals were slotted home very well.

Already beaten his goals tally for last season. He's turned into a good forward at this level now. Delighted for him.

I don't get this, I never thought he was dreadful - he started off pretty well then got an injury which obviously still hindered him after he came back but he still looked a handful. Got far too much abuse from some people who were expecting a Conference player to turn up and score every game

But yeah, he has improved every season since and is on absolute fire these days. Would love to see him play a couple of seasons in the Champions League and have the world's elite's pants down

We need a better partner for him.

This.

Him and Charlie Austin upfront.

Think of that for a minute.

Magical.

lol

Said that a month ago and got a roasting ! Still think we should do it.

The only problem with him playing so well is that unfortunately he makes the rest of our strike force look average.
