What about Hernandez from Hull?

I'm watching Football League Tonight as well mate.

I'd like to see a striker - Troy Deeney would be amazing but I doubt watford would sell so I'd go for Charley Austin or the lad from Burnley that they got from Brentford....... Gray I think. It would be good to see some extra quality to come in at Right Back - maybe a Debuchy or a John Flannigan on loan (think he's back in training now). I'd bring Chilly back to provide cover to Fuchs as I see Schluppy playing further forward.

Sources reporting Inter are chasing Gregory Van Der Wiel and PSG are demanding €4 million. I don't watch much French football so dunno if he's tailed off badly but surely he's worth a sniff at right back?

His missus is ridiculous too which is the main reason I am suggesting him.

They won't sell Long especially not in Jan. We've gotta go back in for Austin, pick him up for 8million. If he forms a good partnership with Vards he could get a place at the euros. If we don't sign him in Jan we won't have a chance in the summer when he's free

£8m?????????

If we got 16 league games out of him he's costing us £500,000 per game before wages.

I don't want Austin here personally but if we have to get him then surely sign him up for free in the summer.

Definitely need a quality striker alongside Vardy as the lad looks knackered but still gives his all, I think Austin is definitely a target for us as we need to look at next season now.

Up the City....

Austin available £6m according to Mail on Sunday

Even with his wage demands sounds like a  great deal

Oh, and I'd break the bank to get Nathan Redmond

I've wanted him since he was at Birmingham, he'd be great in our side at the minute and we'd get the best of him. He'd cost at least 20 million though and I'm sure our scouting team won't pay that

I'd sooner go in for Slimani again than Charlie Austin, no idea why but I feel well uneasy about the thought of him joining us.

Austin knows what it takes to play in the Premier, a lot of Europeans find it hard to adapt.  January purchases need to be ready to play immediately.

It's nothing to do with where he's from, I think Austin's a good striker but just wouldn't fit the way we play the game. It'd be like when we signed Chris Wood, who for all he was easily our best finisher, held us back as a team because of his lack of all-round game. No co-incidence that we ended up better again when we put in Vardy for him.

If we sign another striker (we need to) we need someone who plays like Vardy.

Austin is a better Ulloa..but too similar.

We play high tempo and defend from the front. We need another similar striker to Vardy imo.

You won't be getting them that much cheaper these days, you know.

Where's your limit of tolerance? When's a signing cheap and when expensive from your point of view? At £4m onwards? £5m? £6m?

As much as I'd love us to sign only more players like Riyad Mahrez who cost a minimal fee and then turn out to be a revelation, they'll remain the exception to the rule.

Especially now with us being a Premier League team and a hot prospect, as well. Other teams or agents will know they can demand more silly money for their players if we see them suiting our style and are after them. Unless they come on a free transfer which won't happen up until next summer.

Mirallas is a very good shout, mate is an Everton fan and said mirallas is one of their top players but for some reason doesn't get started, feel like if we put in a good offer they'd definitely sell especially with their owners, would improve our starting 11 for sure

He's free in the summer.

IF we wanted him I'd much rather we kept the £8m in our pockets and got him in the summer and persist with Ulloa/ Okazaki for the remaining five months. I don't think he's much of an upgrade on Ulloa and would rather we set our sights on a better striker who has attributes that suit our team more.

Happens from time to time with players. Same with Dyer at Swansea. They hit a patch playing with a particular personnel and he just couldnt get back in despite being better than what they have.

Mirallas is an exceptionally creative, pacey, strong attacker that can play across all positions in the frontline.

Wouldnt cost the earth either.
