The one advantage we have over other clubs is that we wanted him last summer when the fee was £10m or whatever it was. Other clubs like Sevilla may have an interest in him now because he's on a Bosman or will go for way under his value in January and can pick up a bargain. I hope the fact that we wanted him and were prepared to pay a big transfer fee when all other clubs wouldn't isn't lost on him. We're not just trying to get him as he's one of the best players on a Bosman, he's truly wanted at Leicester which is something you can't necessarily say about any other club.

But would be well worth it. Shelvey has had some issues over the last season or so, but at 23 he can be moulded and improved. 6'1" and can be really impressive when he is on his game. Butland... No idea who would be best for a RB or Winger, but players like Fuchs and Mahrez please!

He tends to knuckle down and become unplayable when on loan to try and get a long term contract. If we got 6 good months out of him it's a gamble but if it worked it could be what we need to get our best ever finish. If his attitude is poor which has never been a problem before when trying to get a full time contract then terminate. Play him at his own game. If we get top 4 we have a much better range of players to buy in the summer.
