Was talk that Remy might be available on loan. Good goals to minutes ratio and a big improvement to our attack if doable.

Would love Remy here but I think Hiddink has stated he wants him to stick around at Chelsea.

Ok. Saw the reports of Villa sniffing round him as a player who would be wanting plenty of pitch time ahead of selection of squads for the Euros.

If Hiddink allowed him to leave then I can't see why we wouldn't try for him. It's not like he would rather battle in a relegation fight at Villa than battle it out at the top with us.

That Adam Smith at right back for Bournemouth today looked very good at right back,

Only signed from Tottenham last year though

Agree. Had a strong game today and has looked decent all season.

I've just read that Bojan at Stoke has a £10m release clause. If that's true then we should be absolutely all over that. Perfect for the number 10 position behind Vardy.

Well worth a shout that

Wjinaldum at Newcastle. Big, strong, has scored goals already in The Prem. Was Dutch player of the year last season and if there's one club you know will sell for the right price it's an Ashley-owned club.

Been thinking this for weeks, would slot in well here I reckon and clearly a class act. Although, more likely to join if Newcastle go down which unfortunately I don't think they will. Top player though

Bojan apparently has a 10m buyout clause.

Doubt he would want to leave Stoke right now though, especially for us. He'll probably see where Stoke can finish then move to a big club in the summer.

need a right back who can overlap AND defend

Need a target man who can head a ball (in the attacking half), hold it up when required and score when a chance presents itself.

Need an attacking midfielder who is able to score regularly at this level.

Need a centre half who is comfortable on the ball so we can keep possession every now and then to give the attacking five a rest.

We have none of the above.

The club must know all this and are addressing it now because this is probably the only chance we will ever get to try and establish ourselves as a top 4 club. If they drop the baton now then they are guilty of double standards over pearsons sacking. The chance we have now is so rare. The traditional top four sides will be much better next season and Liverpool should improve under klopp. Spurs look to be progressing well. Next season, we will struggle to make the top 8.

Players like gray are good for the future but won't address the second half of this season.

He only signed for them in the summer, not a chance.

Yeah I have to say I do rate Wjinaldum since he has come into the Premier League. I think he has a lot of quality.

How about an audacious move for Samir Nasri? Could fill in for the number 10 role and provide cover on the flanks.

Well, why would you want to sign an injured player?

Shelvey and Austin at £12m each ....   two good England players and add strength to the squad.    (I bet some would disagree with that   !).

Oh, and guess who they would replace ....
