Jimothy Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 Problem with Carroll is that you have to revert to hoofball with him in the team as he absolutely has no skill or finesses whatsoever That's not true. Carroll is pretty good with the ball at his feet, and he complete unstoppable in the air. His problem is he's not overly quick and he can't stay fit for longer than 5 minutes.
jammie82uk Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 Ogbonna you cock! I wanted penalties! So did I, but great header tho
NoFuchsGiven Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 Carroll nearly injured again... He must be the shittiest forward in the PL Anyone know any shittier? Ulloa?
MC Prussian Posted 10 February 2016 Author Posted 10 February 2016 Ogbonna you cock! I wanted penalties! You what? And Liverpool scraping by again? The goal was deserved and so was the win. It was a great FA Cup for the neutral and it's usually great to see a bigger side like Liverpool struggle. Cupsets is what the competition is all about, no matter how small the margin between the two contestants.

Oh I'm happy West Ham progressed, don't get me wrong, but I love a non-Leicester penalty shoot out. And when it's that close and someone pops up with a winner I'm disappointed.
ScouseFox Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 today was the third time in four premier league games that west brom didn't even have a shot on target. two of those games against teams in the relegation zone. tony pulis should be banned from football forever. now we're an hour into a game against a league one side and tony pulis is looking like making it their fourth game from their last five that hasn't included a shot on target, let alone a goal. edit - if you take out their amazingly prolific 7 shots on target in one game vs swansea a few weeks ago, they have managed 5 shots on target in their last six games, vs newcastle, southampton, bristol city, aston villa & peterborough (x2). GO BUST
Corky Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 240 minutes of football against Aston Villa (20th), Newcastle (18th) and a team outside of the play-offs in League One and not a shot on target. You have to get Pulis in.
fuchsntf Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 WBA You have to ask...does this look like a team doomed to another relegation battle. Even if they get out of this tie, they have looked lethargic for the last 5-6 games, Fletcher being the only guy who has some class, ooops just scores as I say it..
StanSP Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 Pulis is so infuriating. Both as a person on the touchline and the way he forces his teams to play. Starting 5 at the back against a League One side. Embarrassing.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 All you can hear is Pulis shouting SAIDO SAIDO SAIDO
adam Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 Did anyone see that young lad in the crowd. Peterboro hat chelsea gloves. Madness. His old man needs to have a word with him
Corky Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 Jonathan Pearce has chosen Bostwick of Peterborough as his man to praise whatever he does from winning a tackle to breathing.
kingfox Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 Peterborough have looked class, thoroughly enjoyed watching them tonight.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 Peterborough seem a side who work as a unit, and play together as a team. They all play for each other. Like Leicester actually. Two decent goals in this one, Fletcher's strike was sensational.
jammie82uk Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 Jonathan Pearce has chosen Bostwick of Peterborough as his man to praise whatever he does from winning a tackle to breathing. To be fair he's had a pretty good game, his 1st game after returning from injury in 3 months apparently Have to be honest, not watched this tonight as immersed in work. Just looked on BBC website though, and their 'stats' say over 50 shots in the game!! Is that true ?? Not been counting but there has been quite a lot of speculation shots from outside the box
RowlattsFox Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 Knew the kid would miss, shame becuase he looks a talent. Fletcher, shockingly bad.
MC Prussian Posted 10 February 2016 Author Posted 10 February 2016 Who let that kid wear a Peterborough shirt? Still a less worse miss than Darren Fletcher's.
