I LOVE CLAUDIO.

Recommended Posts

Haven't you forgotten to mention a certain someone who deserves pretty much ALL of the credit for our form since the West Ham win last season that started this incredible run!!?

A VERY fair point, i apologise unconditionally and kneel before the great one.

He's really likable and the fans and more importantly the players look to have really taken to him.

It's starting to remind me of a time 20 or so years ago but I daren't mention the comparisons at this point at it's too early and I'll jinx it but like others have said it's bl**dy great being a supporter at the moment and I'm relishing it.

Obviously wasn't happy when Pearson was fired and tbh I thought Ranieri was the best of a bad bunch. However, it has taken me next to no time to fall in love with our Claudio! Charismatic bloke who really does care about what he's doing here. Love the football were playing, especially when we keep winning! Feel he can take us to the next level that Pearson perhaps couldn't.

Bore off. They can both take credit. Pearson laid the foundations and Ranieri so far has taken it to another level. Doesn't always have to be Pearson v Ranieri.

And another thing is, look at the almost drastic (i dont think drastic is too strong a word to use) improvement in some of our players under Ranieri.

Vardy has become the most lethal striker in the premier league.

Mahrez is ripping teams apart.

Drinkwater has improved so much, assured passing, positional play, restored confidence

Even someone like a Danny Simpson who gets hammered for criticism and im not condoning his off field behaviour, but he looked accomplished and solid against very tricky opponents in Bolasie, Puncheon and the like.

It just seems like it would be hard for anyone not to want to give everything they could for Ranieri. He has a massive squad at his disposal and yet everyone when they play makes a huge difference and chomps at the bit to get on and play.

I've questioned our coaching many times over the years - things concerning our lack of a free-kick specialist or any great success or rehearsal of free-kicks and corners, certain one-footed footballers, the failure of people to make runs that make space for people, our failure to stop crosses from known dangermen and so forth.

But, under Ranieri there seems to be a marked determination to point out people's strengths/weaknesses and to work on them.  Mahrez is a case in point with Ranieri clearly focused on making him even more effective. Watching yesterday it was patently clear that Ranieri and perhaps others had worked out a match plan and instilled the discipline necessary to make it come off. It's a major step forward.

Pearson has had reims of praise for what he - and his players - achieved. Now he's gone and I see no reason for our current personnel to be carrying his proverbial body around for ever.

Just listened to his post match interview on the radio. He is such an eloquent and genuinely witty man. I've got to say it is a nice change from last year. Not that post match interviews should hold precedence over match performance, but atm he's getting that side of it right aswell.

Very good times for the club and fans. I'm loving it.

We didn't have any(many) if you mean RL.

True. Albrighton's been pretty good.

Anyone who doesn't love Claudio has their heads in the sand...

The fact that we're on 19 points already, the amount we were on in APRIL last season before our run, goes to show the quality we have in the squad.

All these so called "experts" predicting our downfall, it's nice to know that odds are we're gonna be laughing come May.

I have to be honest I find all the nonsense like the Pizza crap a bit annoying. When I read match reports half the time it focuses on Pizza's or hot dogs etc rather than what actually happened.

I hope it's not a consistent thing with the press dragging out some comments of a manager who speaks pigeon English.

He's going to express himself differently to most.

Prepare to be disappointed. That's what British media is about.

as with any "joke" or funny/weird comment or "banter" etc it made me smile at first, now we're what, a month or so later? and it's mentioned every day, in every interview, every tweet etc you read. overkill.

He seems to ooze class and he's a hard guy not to like (unless you happen to be Pardew) I can imagine under pearson players would have been scared if the hairdryer if playing badly whereas Ranieri seems to be the sort you wouldn't want to let down. A bit like your parents when you were young. I'M not mad, just dissapointed!

Yeah proper miserable me, you're no doubt happy go lucky and love reading reports that talk about PIzza more than football.

Just a bit of fun.

Claudio decided to use that joke so it was obviously always going to be used when we got our first clean sheet.
