Foxes1 Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 So eight games on the spin now, if he scores against Watford and then Newcastle against which team could he break Ruud Van Nisterooy's record can't seem to find out who the opponents will be

foxfanazer Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Really hope so. He's almost certainly going to get chances and you wouldn't back against him taking at least one a game on his current form
ramboacdc Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 would be great for him. i am proud of him now. if he equals it i will be happy. we can beat united on their up and down form right now but i aint counting my chickens just yet.
Finn Claw II Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Going for the record against United is a great story. Follow that with leading England to euro 16 glory and a £50m transfer to Real Madrid. #decent season.
Filbert_Ross Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Going for the record against United is a great story. Follow that with leading England to euro 16 glory and a £50m transfer to Real Madrid. #decent season. All could happen apart from the England glory bit. All got silly there.
Len Finsbury Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 It's almost going to be a disappointment when he doesn't score in a game!
Fox92 Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 His confidence is sky high at the minute so why not. I had no doubt he was going to score when he went clear through yesterday - even though Drinkwater was square and very open - although from our end it looked like his touch just took him too far. Obviously not. Hope he breaks the record. Watford and Newcastle is doable too.
Vlad the Fox Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 All could happen apart from the England glory bit. All got silly there. Your right. Hodgson will have him playing defensive midfield by then while kane bumbles around like a championship loanee.
GaelicFox Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Nailed on to be an Engalnd winger and as such go out at group stages as Rooney misses goal after goal The Manager is England's weakest link
MattGamble92 Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Had a dream last night where he broken his leg.
Mad Dog Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Hopefully he breaks it against united and then celebrates by *literally* pissing on Wayne Rooney while Hodgson watches on
DB11 Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 I didn't realise that Van Nistlerooy's record was spread over two season - eight in 02/03 and then the first two games of 03/04. It doesn't seem such an achievement now and Vardy's already equalled the eight!

It doesn't seem such an achievement now and Vardy's already equalled the eight! Didn't know that either. Does kind of make it seem less of achievement. It's on thing consistently scoring like Vardy is and another going off to an international tournament, coming back, going on holiday, having a preseason, playing a few friendlies and the picking up where you left off.
HighPeakFox Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Hopefully he breaks it against united and then celebrates by *literally* pissing on Wayne Rooney while Hodgson watches on Literally?

VLC86 Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 What international tournament was in 03? The World Cup for people who look like a horse, heard he was ney good in that though.
AKCJ Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Think it's more of an achievement to pick up after 3 months off.
AyewJoking Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 so if vardy scores against twatford he will hold the real record of scoring in 9 consecutive matches?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 so if vardy scores against twatford he will hold the real record of scoring in 9 consecutive matches? That's how I would see it.
STUHILL Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Got a great chance against Watford and Newcastle. He has already achieved so much so won't be that disappointed if he doesn't. To do it with Leicester would be a much greater achievement than Nistlerooy for a dominant Man U anyway
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 If we get a penalty would Mahrez let Vardy take it? I would hope that's sorted before the game to be honest but it's just something I thought about.
