SystonFox Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 25 posts and still no"chat shit get banged"? Not good enough PALS
Gforce19 Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Just a thought, knowing the FA sent Jamie on a course following his casino rant, perhaps the course was at a "finishing school"
srbfox Posted 2 November 2015 Posted 2 November 2015 Can someone make a video of all his goals this season, i'll let whoever does it choose the music Cheers
possiblygeorge Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 If we get a penalty would Mahrez let Vardy take it? I would hope that's sorted before the game to be honest but it's just something I thought about. I was thinking this myself. Inb4 Ulloa takes the spot kick Can someone make a video of all his goals this season, i'll let whoever does it choose the music Cheers Choose a song and i'll whip it up
ozleicester Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 It's almost going to be a disappointment when he doesn't score in a game! Wait... this can happen?
urban.spaceman Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Wait... this can happen? He had a goal drought this season when he didn't score for literally two games.

Dan Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 I really do think if he gets to 10 then he'll get 11. It's just the perfect setting to do it. I can see Watford stopping him though. They're funny ****ers like that.
stox259 Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Can someone clear something up for me? Vardy is on 3 yellow cards I believe. Lets say he scores against Watford and Newcastle but picks up a yellow card in each game and is banned for the United game. Does the record mean consecutive Premier League games or consecutive Premier League games played by the player himself? If Vardy misses a game but then scores in the game after has he still broken the record? Never thought i'd be asking this question on behalf of a City player! Shows how far we have come.

Sturridge's 8 in a row is really 1 game with a goal before his injury and 7 games after it, and Ruud's was 8 goals at the end of the season and 2 goals at the start of the new season. I suspect that should Vardy get suspended in those games somehow and scores, but scores in the next game, he will get the record. The record is just how many games the player has played in a row regardless of injury, suspension, or season breaks.
Freesolo Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 he can break it on his current form but i don't think it is a priority, I hope it doesn't turn into one because I have seen what happens when players try to hard they forget what got them to the current position in the first place, just hope he keeps playing his natural game and if it happens it happens
demon_dog Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 I was thinking this myself. Inb4 Ulloa takes the spot kick Choose a song and i'll whip it up Champion the Underdog by Sutherland Brothers and Quiver seems apt to me.
LanguedocFox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Not sure if this has already been posted, but I just saw this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3308389/Leicester-striker-Jamie-Vardy-hits-historic-goal-Premier-League-player-score-nine-consecutive-games.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 I hadn't realised that Van Nistelrooy's ten-goal record was over two seasons. Well done our Jamie.

Well done our Jamie. I didn't either, so only man to score in nine consecutive games over a single season and the only English player to do it overall
Donut Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Van Nistelrooy's record is still the record, two seasons or not. But im really fancying Jamie to break the record. I just love how he adapts to every level he comes up to, and is by far Englands best striker at the moment.
Captain... Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 He also now holds the Leicester record for consecutive league games scored in, ahead of the legendary scoring Arthurs
The Doctor Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Also two goals from setting the most goals scored in a premiership season for us. He's come on brilliantly.
Merging Cultures Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 I didn't realise RVNs 'record' was across two seasons. Makes it a bit meh if you ask me. Vardy's is the record.
psychonaut Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Congrats on the record. Across two seasons is a twisted stat, everyone assumes, like myself, when talking about consecutive goals scored it is across one season and so it should be.

Exactly, you even have different teams in the league over two seasons... I would say Vardy's 9 in one season is more impressive and that isn't even being biased
KP Fox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Yes! Congratulations Jamie. Fantastic achievement!
Bluetintedspecs Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 With the benefit of a close season break I also agree that's too manipulated! 9 in a row in one season is far more impressive and a TRUE record.Lets hope he equals at St James ' s and then smashes against Manure. Well done Vardy.
