brisfox Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Now that away tickets are much harder to get, some of us have to use some more creative ways of seeing the Foxes play. I have done a check to see how many of the current league grounds I have been to in the home end. My tally is 27. Can anybody beat that? I have to be honest in saying I don't enjoy it nearly as much but at least you are there.Only ever had a problem at 2 grounds, Forest and Peterboro. Looking forward to Newcastle.
Vacamion Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 What are you doing posting that here? Are you Leicester? Oh really? Come on lads, LET'S HAVE HIM.....

Benguin Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 I couldn't do it personally, not on any moral grounds but simply because I wouldn't be able to contain myself if we scored and regularly hurl abuse at opposition players when they cheat.
steveherbe Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Couldn't do it myself but may make an exception for Barca next season
Captain... Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Done it twice, both games 4-3 thrillers, Chelsea in the FA cup and Spurs last season.
Leicesterpool Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Northampton away 2008-09, where I think probably most of the stadium was full of Leicester fans.
goose2010 Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 I have no idea how people do it, i really don't think i could hold the emotion in if we scored a cracker or got a late peno.
Gerard Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 I was in the West Brom end a couple of weeks a go. Every time Leicester scored I got up and shouted "That's rubbish West Brom and then a big C'MON". Eavesdropping on the two lads behind me they agreed with each other that only Vardy would get in their team from our's.
Renart Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 I did it last year at Old Trafford as a corporate guest. It is not such a big deal under those circumstances as most of the people around you don't really give a fudge (they are mostly United fans....) - it was even asked during the pre-match meal whether 'any Leicester fans were with us today' and then those of us who replied were told that we were very welcome. Having said this, it was an utterly weird experience and I kept on looking over to our supporters and wishing I was in there. I celebrated when we scored, as there was no fear of reprisals where I was sitting, but it was too late by then anyway.

I have no idea how people do it, i really don't think i could hold the emotion in if we scored a cracker or got a late peno. The Chelsea match was brutal, I was with friends who were fans of other clubs, so they helped keep me calm, but I had to sit on my hands the whole time. The match went 0-1,1-1,2-1 by this point I had resigned myself to a loss and was ok, but when we pulled it back to 2-2 and then 3-2 I was in agony, I was actually relived when they scored the winner as I couldn't have sat through penalties.
pSinatra Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Was in the North Bank at Highbury where we took the lead but ended up losing 2-1 during Frank Sinclairs own goal streak. During the 80's when there was barely any live football on the telly, there was the Big Match Live on a Sunday afternoon. We would go to see Leicester on the Saturday & if Forest were on the telly on the Sunday we would go & watch in the away end with the fans of whoever they were playing. Best one was Arsenal who beat Forest 4-1. I'm not a Gooner
Kegworthfox Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 the worst away end was millwall the year us and pompy went up, leicester fans were banned so i joined the millwall supportors club for a fiver and took my son, its the only time i wanted leicester to miss a pen and good old muzzy did in the last few mins, went chelsea and liverpool when we were banned,
bigbiff Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Only done it once when we played villa and we had pegguy in goal. He single handedly saved us a point. Enjoyed it after the game but during was hard, could not do it again. Home games or the pub for me i like to get envolved by shouting ect
Guest Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Far more interesting would be how many female fans of other teams have you slept with. 27 will be beaten.
Bayfox Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Never done it and couldn't do it, even turned down players lounge tickets at WHL once because I just couldn't trust myself to keep my emotions check. 27 times is just plain weird, I can't decide if you are just plain mad and even more desperate to watch us than I am, or just the most placid bloke I've never met.
Livid Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 In my younger days, West Brom, Villa, Derby and Forest. It's a double edged sword you get to see the game but have to keep your emotions in check.
Swarles Barkley Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Forest away when we won 3-2 on the last game of the season. Not going mental when knocky scored was a small drawback on being surrounded with thousands of depressed forest fans
EGBFitness Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Remember going in MK Dons end when Gradel scored something like the 100th minute free kick. Went a little crazy, had a few looks and made a swift exit

Richard Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 I was at Derby away and Burnley away (my god it was tough when Wood scored that goal) in the wrong end the year we went up
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Only ever done it once as a 7 year old with family away to Sunderland at Roker Park. We won 3-2 and I couldn't contain my cheers. Pretty sure Joachim and Paul Kerr scored. We were started on by a few Sunderland fans around but luckily the family friends we were with who were Sunderland fans sorted it out before it escalates.
Izzy Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Just the once - away at Villa in '95. The game when we were 4-1 down and miraculously got it back to 4-4. I managed to keep calm(ish) when we got our second then went nuts after our third. I got some nasty looks and a few comments but still thought we'd lose it anyway. When we scored the fourth at the death I went mental and had to be escorted out by 3 stewards for my own safety. Can still remember these two Villa blokes in denim jackets climbing over seats about 10 rows behind to get at me happy days...
Thracian Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Did it at Coventry and felt like I was the only mourner in a graveyard. The club contacted me regularly afterwards trying to persuade me to be a regular! I actually admired their efforts but, oh dear, what a diabolical game. We took the lead from memory and daren't cross the halfway line after that. Kingy - or was it Danns - broke ranks on one occasion and actually turned round while on the ball as if to wave for back-up. It was never arriving so he ran back and passed it the way he was facing. I wondered why people tortured themselves watching such shit.
