weller54 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Inler looked good when he came on.. But that's his ideal role to hold things together when we're ahead... Sure King will play on Saturday and he's a great option to have!
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Hopefully Drinkwater's ok? He's been one of a number of outstanding performers on the field this season. King did very well to slot in so nicely.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Nothing come out from the club today in relation to this, not even the standard 'set for a scan tomorrow' line? Just think there is no way he'd of said right take me off I'm done unless it was serious.
filbertstreet Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 pop him in the freezer he'll be right as rain

The Quick Brown Fox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 At work today I had a man u fan ask me where we got Danny from as "he looks a right player".
volpeazzurro Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Wonder if we'll see Matty James on the bench... Think he's mostly training on his own still from what I've heard . Quite a way off if that's the case I think. Shame but best not to rush.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 no expert but it looked like a pull. would you carry on and risk a more serious injury? No of course not but I'm sure he wouldn't of said straight away right that's it take me off if it was just a slight pull, hence my pessimism it could be a full on hamstring injury.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Think king would be the obvious choice. I'm a fan of inler as a footballer but he has struggled with the English game thus far. We all know king can do a job and if I remember correctly was about the best player on pitch when we played Everton at home last season. Again hard to tell but I'd imagine DD is out for 2-3 weeks just a shame that 2-3 weeks is fixture packed.
weller54 Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Good news about Drinky! King will be an admiral replacement for the Everton game!
Guest Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Good news about Drinky! King will be an admiral replacement for the Everton game! Is that more important than Captain?
Izzy Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Is that more important than Captain? He's a trusty leftenant

Vardinio'sCat Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 I blame the Coppenhagen blonde. My thoughts exactly
fridoux Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Good news about Drinky! King will be an admiral replacement for the Everton game! great !
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Yes fantastic news and well done to Danny for recognising he had a problem instantly and getting himself off, definitely limited the damage and would of been a huge loss for a month or two absence. A few days recovery obviously only needed before back in full training and fit for liverpool, hopefully.
benpicko Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Up there with Mahrez and Vardy this year, when he starts scoring again he'll be something else
blue blood Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 If King does replace Drinkwater and plays well, does Drinkwater walk straight back into the team when he is fit?
MC Prussian Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 not too bad, back for liverpool I'd like to see him back, too. The tweet doesn't say in what capacity, though. Still doubtful to start.

daddylonglegs Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Was sat pretty much next to him today. Was loving it when we went 3-1 up - proper going for the Mahrez chant! Hero!
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 The picture with Drinkwater with the away fans today just supports the point of how great the connection is between the fans and players. Someone mentioned this on Twitter as well. There's so many positives about our club at the moment.
