LanguedocFox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Legend! Love that: says so much about the spirit at the club.
st albans fox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 how fantastic that a player wants to sit with the away fans rather than in the prawn sandwiches seats. Another illustration of the spirit in the team.
Gary Eatfood Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 The picture with Drinkwater with the away fans today just supports the point of how great the connection is between the fans and players. Someone mentioned this on Twitter as well. There's so many positives about our club at the moment. Is he not sat in the home end though?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Is he not sat in the home end though? Nah he was in the away end, upper tier.
Gary Eatfood Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Nah he was in the away end, upper tier. Good stuff. Most people in that picture looked quite glum which made me think he was in the home end!
AyewJoking Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Was sat pretty much next to him today. Was loving it when we went 3-1 up - proper going for the Mahrez chant! Hero! same stadium then? :xmastongue:
Unabomber Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 At least he is standing, bunch of melts sitting in front.
AyewJoking Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 how did he get recognised in that cunning disguise??
Dr The Singh Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 At least he is standing, bunch of melts sitting in front. Why are they melts? They paid for a seat, its there choice of what they do with it. Not everyone thinks being a fan is about standing
Unabomber Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Why are they melts? They paid for a seat, its there choice of what they do with it. Not everyone thinks being a fan is about standing Personally it is all about standing to create that atmosphere that we all crave mate.
AyewJoking Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 why are they standing having a photo taken instead of singing?
johnny the fox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Legend! lucky he didn't get chucked out for standing...they don't like it at goodison..
Dr The Singh Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Personally it is all about standing to create that atmosphere that we all crave mate. Why be so disrespectful, I prefer sitting for example and chant more then those standing. This notion of standing doesn't wash with me, if you do t like it, don't go labeling those that sit with abuse
Unabomber Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Why be so disrespectful, I prefer sitting for example and chant more then those standing. Alright mate it's not a competition.
ScouseFox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 at least he's standing imo poor from those around him
Stadt Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 at least he's standing imo poor from those around himwhat is this, a competition?
whoareyaaa Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 All away ends should be standing only, bar the first 3 rows for people with stand difficultys ing*
DangerFox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 I love going to the away games, I do think standing adds to the atmosphere imo but my legs by the end of the game! ! Good on Drinkwater though. As much as we'd love to be in there place and playing the match, they must want to try out being in the stands soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the elation of winning. Today he got his dream with the city faithful!
Wymsey Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 I think some people are forgetting a certain Matty James. Won't be long before he comes back; I'd like Ranieri to give him a chance gradually, but just think he'll be sent on-loan to continue his rehabilitation.

I don't think anybody's forgetting him, he's just not the same player as Drinkwater and doesn't have the passing range of him either, as we saw last year when Cambiasso played all the long balls that Drinky's playing.
