3rd round FA Cup v Spurs - BBC Sun 10th @ 4pm

Hate Tottingham, so I hope we thrash them. Having said that, if we're 6 points clear in the P/L with those tough games out the way, I'd hope Ranieri would play the team he played in the league cup. Don't want anyone injured.

What pisses me off more than anything is that if we want any chance of progressing we'll have to play a strong team, which will affect the league.

Didn't want to decide between the FA Cup and League progress in the 3rd round ffs

I would think there is a very real possibility that both us and Spurs will pretty much play our reserve teams in the cup game, especially with us playing each other again in the league 4 days later.

Is that four consecutive all prem FA cup ties since getting promoted? Newcastle, Spurs and villa last year.

And when we were in the championship wanting a premiership team we hardly ever got one.

City fans missing the point....Time for redemption, time for all those years of heartache, time to readdress,

the double year of Spurs, when they beat our lads.!) !)

Notice how when we were in the Championship we never used to get them either. Shock horror, up we go and they're all rolling in.

Reasonably happy, Spurs being midweek in the league meant I couldn't go, WHL is somewhere I always wanted to go so atleast now I have a chance, depends if my mates are up for it though.

Pretty much the toughest draw we could've got. At least Arsenal/Man City may have rotated a bit. Spurs will be going all out for this trophy I reckon. A chance to see fringe players against top opposition at least.

Why are our fans so negative? Not an awful draw, I'm sure their manager will give a lot of their backup squad players a chance...

Which is exactly what we'll do too.

It's bad enough getting a team from your own league in my eyes but to get one that we had last season, AND play in the league four days later is horrendous. The latter there will make this game dodgy.

The collectively awful draw means there's a very good chance ours will end up on TV too.

I agree. I can't imagine a worse draw to be honest.

Damn shame we went out of the league cup, since that, and the fa, are great to give less favoured player--Inler, Kram, etc-- and the youth team some competitive matches to prove themselves. ****ing Spurs, though.

Or we'll draw either Bournemouth or Spurs seeing as we have those two around this game.

Well...we all know who's fault it is! lol

Spurs must be shittin it, they've just drawn the best team in the country!

I'm guessing you weren't at Hull? They were going to keep getting chances as long as they took us into the next round

Why the hell do people think us and Spurs will field weak teams? The fact that we've drawn each other shows that it will be a tough game. Both teams want to progress.

We are not burdened with a tiring league cup run or a European game. Our team is quite capable of playing two matches in a row without league form being impacted ffs.

Because they will.

You're leaving in a dream world if you don't think they'll be loads of changes.

Agree with the last point though.

Disappointing draw always is when you draw a team from the same division. Overall a disappointing draw altogether apart from Exeter v Liverpool there's not much excitement in round three. Also the noise in the background when they were doing that draw was a tad distracting.
