Bayfox Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Swear people used to be all over any kind of London away. Better prices than the league game hopefully, and a good chance for those of us who can't take the time off work to get stuck in to a good sesh in the Smoke. Hopefully we go all out, because we can win this too. Just worried it's going to end up on TV in the Sunday lunch graveyard slot. I love a day out in London, but when you face them again within 5 days, the attraction just isn't there, unless the tickets are around £20 quid then having just spunked £37 for the league game plus beer and travel, afternoon out the office, I can see why people are not thrilled by the prospect. Wanted a smaller club away from home to be honest, if we have to have a team from the same league I would prefer them here and cheap tickets to fill the ground.
Voll Blau Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Would normally be happy with this. I was happy with it last year. Just the whole thing is going to be cancelled out a bit by people going on Wednesday instead, and Wednesday will take a hit too I reckon. I can't see many people doing both. Throw in Villa away at the weekend as well. I can see us being the early Sunday and if we are I'll probably not bother. Looking down the fixtures I can see us staying Saturday. Police aren't going to like the potential of Newcastle and Sunderland being in North London on the same day, and at least one of those three games will have to be moved.
Filbert_Ross Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Best team in the country are 50/1 to win the cup. Very tempting.
Danno Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Swear we always get the most depressing cup draws in the world
RonnieTodger Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Typical really, I'd be buzzing with this if we were still in the championship.
ramboacdc Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 so when will we get ticket info/find out when the game is/if its on TV?
Captain... Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 so when will we get ticket info/find out when the game is/if its on TV? Was just about to ask the same question, I can go as long as it isn't moved to Sunday or Monday (they won't move it to Monday when we have a midweek game will they?)

Footballwipe Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 There was something I read elsewhere about Wycombe saying the choices would be made later today and we should know by the end of Wednesday, but you bet that might well roll over into Thursday or Friday!
ceredigion Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 We always seem to end up getting Spurs, Man City or Barnsley in the FA Cup. I don't know why that is but it does seem to happen a lot. We can do it though. Remember Mark de Vries' last minute winner a few years back.
Tuna Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Our last 5 FA Cup draws...4 out of the 5 were premier league teams away...Villa, Spurs, Spurs again and Stoke. Its really pissing me off!
kingcarr21 Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 We always seem to end up getting Spurs, Man City or Barnsley in the FA Cup. I don't know why that is but it does seem to happen a lot. We can do it though. Remember Mark de Vries' last minute winner a few years back. I remember watching that game on TV and going mental when he scored. I was at the game last season when Vorm messed up Schluups shot. What a celebration that was. Schluup jumped so high he High Fived the bloke in Row Z
Marmite Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 Hopefully we will find out today what day we are playing
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Makes travel more difficult but still keen for this. £15 lower tier tickets please!
purpleronnie Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Dear oh dear, great one for the neutrals we've only played them 3 times in around a year. Eastleigh v Bolton....nah whack 2 prem teams on.
Wymsey Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Us and Exeter v Liverpool. Should be Eastleigh v Bolton really, as can't see Liverpool slipping up there.
Soar Fox Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Very good of the FA to give Liverpool fans a 500 mile round trip on a Friday night.
Voll Blau Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Still up for going to this. Barmy how us and Man United-Sheff United has been picked over some of the other ties though.
