orangecity23 Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 BOOOOOOOOOOO. Team in same league? CHECK Away game so I can't go? CHECK Against a team we play the same week in the league? CHECK DING DING DING, it's a shit draw bingo full house.
Spudulike Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 So Claudio might as well submit the team sheet now.... Schwarzer De Laet Wasyl Benaloune Chilwell (will he be back ??) Dyer King Inler Schlup Kramaric Shinji/Leo Sorted.
Great Boos Up Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Or we'll draw either Bournemouth or Spurs seeing as we have those two around this game. Read this at lunch time at work and remembered last year and Cardiff. I quoted your words to two yiddos that we'll draw them. Both just texted me with WTF. I also got cocky and stated you can only win one at shite fart lane in the same week, league or cup? choose! No answer yet. But given the choice I'm in the same dilemma.
GaelicFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Well, at least we will be on TV Must be , but I hope we get a good crowd down there was electric last year in 2nd half at least
purpleronnie Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Premiership team away...boring. Lot's of same division ties....crappy draw all round.
GaelicFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 So Claudio might as well submit the team sheet now.... Schwarzer De Laet Wasyl Benaloune Chilwell (will he be back ??) Dyer King Inler Schlup Kramaric Shinji/Leo Sorted. Not a bad team ! Boy don't we all love a moan ! I for one can't wait love a day out in london
Hollism Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Tbf I was umming and ahhing about whether to go early for the league game and get on the drink all day in London. Easy decision now is to do that on the Saturday, and just get the bus for a tenner on the Wednesday
billyn88 Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Ties will be played from the Friday through to the Monday. Considering the prem and the championship all have midweek fixtures, surely they can't be putting a Monday game on? Has there ever been a Thursday night premiership game?
Clever Fox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Awful draw altogether. I was hoping for a good cup run. But I'm not greedy, I'll settle for the 3 points from the league game.
Voll Blau Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Swear people used to be all over any kind of London away. Better prices than the league game hopefully, and a good chance for those of us who can't take the time off work to get stuck in to a good sesh in the Smoke. Hopefully we go all out, because we can win this too. Just worried it's going to end up on TV in the Sunday lunch graveyard slot.
allotment-fox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 going to be a fun week however you look at it bring it on
Corky Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 I just think this game would be better as a quarter-final, full strength teams and a real anticipation. Just seems as though it will be half-hearted especially with the league game so close behind it. The league game will be the 6th match between the teams in the space of 54 weeks.
Elsie Ephsey Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Reminds me of when we lost the League Cup final to them, then did them at theirs two weeks later. I'd take a repeat of that in a heartbeat. Always wanted to win the FA Cup, but that was in the belief that it would represent the height of our ambitions. This team has made me re-think that...
Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 I'd've absolutely loved to get spurs away any time between 2004 & 2014, now we get them twice in a year when it isn't a great draw! That said, this beats the Championship when we drew Huddersfield in the cup..
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Seeing that I can't make the league game I'll be doing this.
Bayfox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Seeing that I can't make the league game I'll be doing this. Mate you can now just spend 5 days in London and do both
weller54 Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Yeovil away to Carlisle Noahs ark on the way to pick Yeovil up as we speak! 2nd XI ahoy 3-2 win. Inler hattrick!
NewquayFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Friday night or Saturday lunchtime on BBC or BT..... Up the City
John61 Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 8th January 2006 FA Cup 3rd round home to Spurs......0-2 down at half time, Mark de Vries scores in injury time Foxes win 3-2.
AKCJ Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 It'd be typical of us to go and get a tie we'd have loved all those years in the Championship, now that we're in the Premier League. Bit like Spurs last year.
Dan Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Swear people used to be all over any kind of London away. Hopefully we go all out, because we can win this too. Just worried it's going to end up on TV in the Sunday lunch graveyard slot. Would normally be happy with this. I was happy with it last year. Just the whole thing is going to be cancelled out a bit by people going on Wednesday instead, and Wednesday will take a hit too I reckon. I can't see many people doing both. Throw in Villa away at the weekend as well. I can see us being the early Sunday and if we are I'll probably not bother.
Finnegan Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Ffs is there some rule somewhere that says we must only get cup ties against teams in the same league as us? Tottenham was one of the most boring games of the season as well. Ugh.
