desertfox2 Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Wonder how araguiz or however you spell it is feeling about us now Hasn't made an appearance yet for Leverkusen. Got injured badly in pre season and been out since.
NewEnglandFox Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Leo played against Newcastle and a shit Swansea side, neither of which were able to pass straight and were very compliant in losing the ball. Okazaki's games include United, Arsenal and Spurs who were much better in possession than Newcastle and Swansea. That doesn't explain it even though it's an easy to theory to assume. Leo has a least a tackle or interception all 8 appearances over 20 minutes. His only other appearance was a stoppage time sub. Shinji blanked in 3 45' appearances against Bournemouth, Southampton and Watford. Shinji's 2 tackle 2 interception Sunderland performance and 4 tackle performance against West Ham hold up his stats. The guy has gone seriously downhill since our first 2 games.
dedlock Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 David Cameron has played the number 10 role for years, worth a scout? Flatters to deceive.
desertfox2 Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Didn't Aranguiz do his cruciate first game? Before 1st game hasn't made a single appearance in the bundesliga. He did it preseason and been out ever since

fuchsntf Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Just read the Mahrez thread and reports within......Including the friendship with Knocky... Just made me a wonder...Could Knocky have been that no. 10, playing next to Vardy. > That said upto now I still support Ulloa < Knockaert just might of been that link.Shame we sold him, instead of loan deal.....like many posters shout about. Could of been interesting...

Could of been interesting... 1) No. Knocky is a winger, or more an inverted forward. Way too selfish to be a 10, unless he completely evolved his game. (And I really loved Knocky, still have his kit framed). 2) Knocky wasn't sold -- he left on a Bosman. So not possible to loan him.
Shamomoa Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 If we can sign someone who is better than Okazaki and Ulloa, or a combination of their good points (aerial threat, hard working, fast, good feet) then we should, but we are top of the league with the players we have. Ulloa finding his touch, or Okazaki bulking up and not being so easy to knock off the ball then we have a very good player, but Ulloa is a bit rusty at the moment, and Okazaki is too lightweight and undoes everything good he does by falling over, or being brushed off the ball. So lukaku?

I didnt know he left under the Bosman ruling.. Being selfish, ....Mahrez has learnt his team skills, Under Claudio ,Knocky would have developed. Mute points really hes gone... still I would have liked to have liked to seen him tucked in with Vardy.

So what you're envisioning is an entirely moot point, is my point. Not playing last season ensured he wasn't going to stay. And while I don't disagree that Knocky could have evolved, just like Mahrez isn't a 10 (Claudio tried), neither is Knocky. Not even close. Mahrez and Knocky are like-for-like players.
Finnegan Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 If you never watched football and just read this forum you'd wonder what the **** King is doing here and not winning Ballon Dors every year at Barca.

Guest Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 We could have Messi but if he didn't score goals then he'd get criticised. We have. His name is Riyad.
CharlieCharles Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Hakim Ziyech plays for FC Twente, 22 years old. 16 apps 9 goals 5 assists
RedSoxUK Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 With our formation, with our style, we don't need a proper number 10. Albrighton and Mahrez are doing the deeds together, Having Ulloa upfront adds extra height, and hold up play; he was fantastic at keeping the ball against Chelsea. and adds an extra man up front. We have different options all over, but if we were to replace the 4-4-2 system for a more modern 4-2-3-1, Ulloa would go for (right now) King, Kingy can score goals, and its there for all to see, his vision and passing has come on wonders. If we were to sign Suggurdson, then yeah.. play to a playmakers strengths, but what we have is at the moment, far better than anything the 4-2-3-1 teams can produce
Countryfox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 What about Gomis at Swansea? No thanks he's a mercenary git.
darko2k7 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 What about some one like Viktor Fischer from Ajax. Is a risky one but as lots of potential , Could get kasper to have a word with his fellow countrymen maybe.
Out Foxed Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 What about some one like Viktor Fischer from Ajax. Is a risky one but as lots of potential , Could get kasper to have a word with his fellow countrymen maybe. Sounds like an 80's movie villain. Gerrim in!
Will1981 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Cedric Bakambu from Villarreal looks a very good player at 22 they signed him from turkey for £5m in the summer.
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 If Swansea continue to struggle, and we stay in the top 4, then what about throwing some money at Swansea for Sigurdsson? 26 years old so in his prime. Only joined Swansea last year so would cost a lot (15M?), but he's a bloody good player and can play in this 'number 10' role which would suit our system.
americanfox Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 What about some one like Viktor Fischer from Ajax. Is a risky one but as lots of potential , Could get kasper to have a word with his fellow countrymen maybe. He's a winger...
Finnegan Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 I love the amount of Football Manager wonderkids in this thread.
Nick Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 For Christmas, I'd like Igahlo, De Jong, Townsend and a right back that can also play in central defence please.
