chicagofox Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 For Christmas, I'd like Igahlo, De Jong, Townsend and a right back that can also play in central defence please. Townsend? Why? Because of his stellar attitude? Because of his current form? Because we need a player who every time he gets the ball shoots (usually wildly and off-target) from absolutely everywhere? Because he is a better wide option that Schlupp, Dyer, Albrighton, and Mahrez (he isn't by the way)? Townsend is the exact type of player that we do not need. And we also do not need a right-back. Open your eyes and you'll see that Danny Simpson has been excellent this season.
Lionator Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Hasn't Naismith said recently that he may have to move to get game time. I think we'd be a decent fit for him.

So, I'd quite like Townsend because he's a pacy winger that could do a job in our system when we've got injuries and the cup to consider. I also think we could improve him in terms of attitude, fitness and ability. I didn't say there is anything wrong with Simpson (Open your own eyes, snowdrop) I'd like a right back because De Laet is out currently and we don't have depth in cover for centre back positions. I hope its windy and cold over there, All the best, SL

Sharpe's Fox Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Don't see why Naismith wouldn't come here and he is ace, a country mile better than Okazaki imo
Tommy G Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Siguardsson from Swansea would be my 1st choice, unlikely.
Nick Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Snowdrop Yeah I wanted to take it one step further than 'flower' or 'petal'
ozleicester Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Please explain, whats a number 10...???? Showing my age, but i think its....
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Go get Alex Pato please. He will end up at Liverpool or Tottenham.
-MaTaN- Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 We should maybe go on Eran Zahavi. Now i know that i'm Israeli and i'm more likely to say this name, But as a Maccabi Haifa fan i saw what this guy can do, He took Maccabi Tel Aviv all by himself to the Champions League group stage, Knocking out Plzen and Basel all alone! He is getting offers from everywhere, Even got one from Spurs last year but he said no, He wanted to go to a big place where he can be speicel or not go at all- Just think of a guy in the level of let's say Ighalo who will decide to play in a League 1 team, That's where Zahai is today, 'cuse he feels like a king in Israel and winning all by himself... (Just look at his numbers)I'm just sayin: He's an amazing number 10, Not a worldwide known guy who have a lot to prove, I really think he will join us with this club moving forward and getting so much talk on.I hope the scouting guys know about this guy.
ALC Fox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Naismith is a shout. He'd suit us down to the ground.

Knows the position well, knows the division. Strike whilst Swansea are in a mess.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Naismith & Vardy would be an absolute nightmare for defenders....
Thracian Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Ighalo Ighalo Ighalo Ighalo Looks a terrific player to me.
ithuriel Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Watford will not sell Ighalo, why risk their Prem status and all that money for a quick profit, even if Chelsea went in for him I'd be surprised if he quit during the season.
Stadt Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 The reasons we're saying we wouldn't sell Vardy are the exact same reasons Watford won't sell Ighalo
roblcfc84 Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Wijnaldum - would certainly fit in nicely. This a great shout. Maybe too early for him to the leave the mags but he would give us an aerial threat from crosses.
ivarti Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 We have a number 10 and that is Andy King and he is scoring goals, performing great everytime he gets the chance, so why just put him up there behind Vardy, instead of Ulloa or Okazaki, would love that to happen when Drinkwater is back, would be perfect
