FireFox Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 The exact wording was: "Your colours are in our hands / Our dreams are in yours", all caps. But that was a message from the fans to the players. For a book/season review title, changing the possessive pronouns would work better imo. And changing 'are' to 'were' - or leaving the verbs out all together (or just leaving out the 2nd one). So: "Their Colours (Were) In Our Hands, Our Dreams ((Were)) In Theirs" Still like this.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 February 2016 Author Posted 19 February 2016 Still like this. Good shout. I like Our Dreams In Their Hands.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 Our Dreams in Their Hands is a great title. My suggestion is One Team. One Dream.

truebluethroughandthrough Posted 20 February 2016 Posted 20 February 2016 A few for you. Oh! shunned eleven. Lethal weapons. One flew over the forest nests And shat Passion v poundnotes. The Fox awakens. King kante. The magic of Mahrez. Jamie's magic touch. We need to talk about Geoffrey. Sorry if I've repeated any!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 20 February 2016 Author Posted 20 February 2016 I've sent a few submissions off to sports book publishers this morning with the working title "Our Dreams In Their Hands".
Alf Bentley Posted 20 February 2016 Posted 20 February 2016 The unusual suspects Best suggestion so far, I think. Succinctly sums up our challenging of the status quo with an unlikely squad of cast-offs, bargain buys and novices. Alternatively, "Fearless: The Magnificent Eleven" This squad reminds of the film "The Magnificent Seven", in which each of the gunmen has a backstory. Likewise, this LCFC squad: the right-back calling bingo numbers on community service, the smart left-back joker, the striker battling back from non-league, the broken-legged Pole who thought his career was over, the Man Utd rejects, the youths from Algeria/Mali via France, the journeyman German centre back, the goalkeeping son of a famous father, the loyal servant (King), all captained by the aging Championship centre back who suddenly discovered his Jamaican roots. Definitely has the makings of a Hollywood blockbuster.

Carl the Llama Posted 20 February 2016 Posted 20 February 2016 Inspired by F365's "No Rooney, less chance" header in their recent mediawatch (God that site's getting on my nerves lately): No ball, more chance.
