Won a Premier League game on every day of the week this season. Think I read Villa were the first team to do this in the competitions history recently, so this would make us the first decent team ever to do this

Monday - Villa 4-0 (h)

Tuesday - Watford 2-0 (h)

Wednesday - Newcastle 3-0 (a)

Thursday - Sheff Utd 2-0 (h)

Friday Southampton 9-0 (lol, a)

Saturday - Bournemouth 3-1 (h)

Sunday - Crystal Palace 2-0 (h)

Do we have a Saturday game with a clean sheet?

First team to keep a clean sheet and win a  game every day of the week?

Monday - 4-0 Villa

Tuesday - 4-1 WHU (was this a Tuesday?)

Wednesday - 3-0 Newcastle

Thursday - 2-0 Sheff Utd

Friday 9-0 Soton

Saturday 3-1 Bournemouth

Sunday - 5-0 Newcastle

Only team to win on every day of the week and racking up 30+ goals in doing so

Top Six finishes by non-"big six" teams in the past decade.

2 Leicester (2016: 1st, 2020: ?)

2 Everton (2013: 6th, 2014: 5th)

1 Newcastle (2012: 5th)

1 Southampton (2016: 6th)

Wolves or Sheffield United can join that list this season.

Only once since 2005 has a non-"big six" team made the top four - us in 2016.

Yes, but 99% of Foxestalk think we have underachieved.

Everton have traditionally been a top side, won the league twice in the 80s. Probably would have been considered a top 6 side before the huge investment in Chelsea and Man City. Not sure you can really include them in that list.

Random question (non Leicester), has a team ever finished in every possible position in the top flight? I'm thinking Everton or Villa if anyone.

Are you including 21and 22 from previous iterations of the league? Everton have never been relegated so have never been bottom 3, Villa only once.

Man City and Chelsea are better bets as teams that have been good and crap.

Or Newcastle and Sunderland who have been very successful and crap in the top flight.

Everton were relegated in 1951, finished 22nd.

Villa numerous times, in the 1930's 1950's, 1960's and the 1980's. Then again in 2016.

Arsenal are the team that haven't really been relegated. Lost their top division place in the early days when it was all on elections, regained it in 1919 and have never gone down since.

Villa have been relegated several times and went down to Division 3 (League One) in the 70s

Can't we vote them out now?

I don’t want to alarm anyone here, but the only position we haven’t finished in our top flight history is 5th!

Pretty interesting thread on Reddit today. Someone tried to look at who the best "big game player" was across Europe using statistics. The results are quite interesting!

How he’s not won a Ballon D’or or a Leicester City player of the Year is beyond me.
