Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has been on the losing side in eight games this season when he has scored - a record for a single Premier League campaign.

you can tell the sign of a great player by how many records he breaks

Not really a stat as such but a point about points progression/being in a false position (Ironically the same phrase used by Southampton under Puel).

Last season bearing in mind we were awful and had quite a few extra matches, heavier and more demanding work load due to compeating in the Champions League. We finished on 44 points.

This season we've been pretty average and very boring, I'm not such how the number of matches compare - obviously we've gone further in cups this year but i'm taking a flyer and saying it'd be less games than last season - besides in the cup competitions we rested players as opposed to playing full strength in the Champions League last season and we currently have 43 points, 1 less than last season.

So the question is, with 5 games left will we really finishing on many more points than last season?

I'm not sure we will.

I said after the Man City games our season should take another upturn, obviously in reality we were never going to win every game left and that wasn't an expectation but we should have been going into that run expecting to win more than we lose or draw, we've not, we really have took a downturn in form.

After 33 games last season we were on 37 points, after 33 games this season we're on 44 (After 33 games least season West Brom were 8th with 44, look at them now), hardly this great progess considering the extra/harder games we had last season is it.

Just been said on Sky that West Brom will become the team that has been relegated the third most times from the top flight when their relegation is confirmed. Birmingham are first (12 times) and we are second (11 times).

Puts our current position in perspective?

Now that is a crazy stat! If only we'd been in the top flight all that time! The good news is we must be close to first for the number of promotions to the top flight!

We're definitely level on second tier titles (us and man city on 6 each)

Since winning the title, Leicester have played 73 games in the Premier League. They have won only 23 of them and lost 31. Puel has been in charge for 25. He’s won nine and lost eight.
