And Burnley also had the 6th best defence and 6th best away record:)

Oh, absolutely and I give credit it to you guys for that.

Obviously a general lack of funds at the club had an impact and you could argue that pound for pound, you had the best defence in the league this past season.

Only 6 Leicester City players have played in the World Cup in the club's history.

10 could feature in this summer's tournament - for 6 different countries.

Izzet was one in 2002. Matt Elliott went to 1998.

And Wood isn't because Izzet was the last one pre Mahrez.

Gordon Banks for England in 1966

John O'Neill for Northern Ireland in 1982 and 1986

Kasey Keller for USA in 1998

Muzzy Izzet for Turkey in 2002

Riyad Mahrez for Algeria in 2014

Elliot was in the squad but was an unused substitute!

I know the World Cup has more participants these days, but that says quite a lot as to how well our club have been doing for the past few years.

Got them all apart from Little Willie.

Shilton should have gone on Mexico in 1970 imo but then I am biased. I still think he was a better keeper at age 20 than Bonetti ever was.He was one of six standbys, I still have the esso coin somewhere.

So if England or Portugal play Nigeria we could have 5 on the pitch at once! Awesome.

Would be awesome, agreed - but Vardy very unlikely to get any gametime whatsoever (unless he signs for Tottenham in the  next couple of days) - for a potential matchwinner it is beyond comprehension that he is behind Kane, Rashford, Stirling and even Welbeck in the pecking order. If we need a goal Southgate will bring on Henderson or Delph and make positional changes rather than use Vards. Pathetic.

Also doubt that Silva will be in the first XI. Shame.

I have that full collection. My dad collected them, I wasn't born until 82. Dad even wrote the differences to the squad on the back of the coin holder.
