Trav Le Bleu Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Which match do you think we will be crowned champions at? Man Utd away would be sweet. Yes, this is tongue in cheek... but only slightly.
Fox92 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Chelsea away, last game of the season, Terry hands over the trophy to Morgan.
Swiper Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Chelsea away, last game of the season, Terry hands over the trophy to Morgan. More like Morgan pries it out of Terry's cold, lifeless hands.
AKCJ Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Could you imagine if we win the league on the day Chelsea get relegated? What's the odds?
weller54 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Could you imagine if we win the league on the day Chelsea get relegated? What's the odds? 15/2

Foxile Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 More like Morgan pries it out of Terry's cold, lifeless hands. More like Terry comes dressed in full Leicester City kit and lifts the trophy for us.
Bayfox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 More like Terry comes dressed in full Leicester City kit and lifts the trophy for us. lol
yorkie1999 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Could you imagine if we win the league on the day Chelsea get relegated? What's the odds? Start of the season 500,000/1 now 1000/1
CharlieCharles Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Top 4 points needed 99/00 - 14/15 70,79,73,69,68,70,72,67,68,76,61,60,67,71,68,67 divide by 16 = 69 points 69 - 35 (current points we have) = 34 points needed for top 4 22 games left to get 34 points= 10 wins, 4 draws, 8 losses PL Winner points needed 99/00 - 14/15 91,80,83,87,90,95,91,87,89,90,80,86,89,86,87,89 divide by 16 = 88 points 88 - 35 (current points we have) = 53 points for PL winner 22 games left to get 53 points 17 wins, 2 draws, 3 losses This really does suggest top 4 is very possible.

This assumes that either Man City, Arsenal or Man Utd go on a better run than 17 W/2 D/ 3 L in the final 22 games... do you see this happening on the basis of what we've seen so far?

Indeed - I don't think either 1st or the Top 4 will be a very high points total this season either. In reality we still need to do as well as Arsenal and Man City over the coming 22 Games, which is pushing it given their resources and talented squads. They both also have CL games though.
Dan Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Chelsea away would just be too perfect. Realistically I'm looking at Norwich at home.
fuchsntf Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I loved Carraghers face last night, when asked, he looked like Brosnan in Miss Doubtfire, when Williams put paprika on the prawns. To be fair, he gives the city team their dues. But like all pundits and panellists, hes waiting for the preverbial bubble to burst, they forget we've have knicked the soap suds from the hammers, we are in credit until May.
richardsfoxes Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I guess someone has to say it, Real madrid or Barca in the groups next season who you fancy boys?
kyleolly Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Win it at Everton then Chelsea give us and Mr Ranieri a guard of honour!

AmyLGK Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 More like Terry comes dressed in full Leicester City kit and lifts the trophy for us. ah hahahahahahahaha I've got an infected tooth and been in ridiculous amounts of pain for the last few days, only managing a wave of the hand and pathetic "yaaay" when Vardy and Marhez scored yesterday - but this made me proper laugh out loud! Thank you! :xmascool:
AmyLGK Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I foresee it being at Chelsea - they have to win the game to stay up and we have to win to become champions...nice!

I'd like to suggest it might be a little lower than the average of 69 this season. Here's an alternative way of looking at it: The current team in 5th place, Spurs, have 26 points from 16 games. That's 1.625 points per game. If they continue to accumulate points at that rate for the rest of the season they'll end up with 62. I don't actually expect them to have that few but I'd be surprised if they finished with significantly more than that. I'd be very surprised if they finished with more than 69. It's been a very competitive league this time out, more so than usual it seems. Surprise results have become less surprising this season (and that's not just down to Chelsea). None of the top four are bulldozing their way through teams like is often the case. So my prediction is that the gap between the top six and bottom six will be smaller than usual.
GaelicFox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Chelsea away, last game of the season, Terry hands over the trophy to Morgan. Don't be daft terry will swap jerseys and be up there proudly Collecting it for city !

glenelgfox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Being flippant - I don't care if we never won another title after this season. In 131 years we are as close as we can get in the modern game to being Kings of England. We are good enough on what we have seen so far this season. Luck (re injuries etc.) plays it part but confidence, belief and controlled attacking aggression is there. At the end of the day it's the players who need to believe. What a season so far!
Gerard Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I felt nauseous when Chelsea scored to make it 2-1 to us last night, God knows what I'd be like at Stamford Bridge if we needed a result.
