Grewks Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 He's the sort of signing that we need to make if we are serious about making the top 4. Not because he is likely to add anything to our top 4 push, but it'd be the sort of signing we would usually miss out on.
Foxhateram Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Gives us another solid option. Dyer, Mahrez, Albrighton, Schlupp and Gray are 5 very good attacking winger options. I would hate to defend against any of those 5 to be honest and they all offer something a little different.
Callabinho Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 It's would be stupid not to give it a go. Lad has potential.
LCCFox96 Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 £3.5mil is actual peanuts nowadays. If we can get him that cheap we'd be mad not to give him a chance in the top flight. I think he's slightly underperformed at Birmingham this season from what I have seen but I feel he'd be suited to our style of play. He's got a lot of pace is pretty direct but with the ability to beat his man every time and that's something we could mould into system easily. That and Claudio has a good track record of bringing young players through. With Dodoo, Gray and Lawrence we'd have some exciting prospects for the wide positions.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 would love to see him here, looks a real talent .
Nick Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 What are his qualities? Just how good is he or could he be?
Thracian Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 There's all sorts of insights here http://eurorivals.net/players/demarai-gray:birmingham-city.htmlbut it's seems we may have serious competition from Liverpool.
Mark Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Jordan Graham at Wolves looks the far better prospect.
Patrick Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 He's quick and has excellent dribbling ability but I don't think he's Premier League standard yet.
RizLCFC Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 If you've got pace then you can be very useful at PL level, he will learn quickly here too.
The Guvnor Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Jordan Graham at Wolves looks the far better prospect. Watched him last night v Leeds he looked very good.
Richard Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Sorry but jordan Graham is 2 years older than Gray, has never scored a professional goal (wiki) including a stint earlier this season at league 2 Oxford. Gray already has 18 months of regular championship football, Jordan Graham has 5 games
dylanlegend Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 I thought we went in for him in the summer and he didn't want to come to us?

Regardless of what he's done so far, Graham looks like he has a spark.
Wymsey Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Very fast and skillful, but seems a bit lightweight for some of the demands this league.
dylanlegend Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Very fast and skillful, but seems a bit lightweight for some of the demands this league. Sound like Mahrez Mk2.... He's coping ok
foxfanazer Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Definitely the sort of player we should be looking at
dedlock Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Whether or not he is good enough only time will tell. He clearly has potential. I suspect we need to be looking at wide men, like it or not come the summer the big club vultures are likely to be hovering for Riyad.
Legend fox Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 I still think if we get champions league. They both stay. But I also think gray would be a great impact sub player for now as he develops.
