RobHawk Posted 21 December 2015 Posted 21 December 2015 This would be my kind of signing, young and clearly gifted, perhaps needs more time to adapt but can come in and strengthen the squad and step in when needed in the meantime. Biggest issue at this age is attitude - but theres where we have to trust the scouts to know what they are doing!
oxford blue Posted 22 December 2015 Posted 22 December 2015 What bids did we have turned down in the summer? The release clause diminishes as each transfer window ends, so that's why it previously needed £5m. Re Jordan Graham - He did exceptionally well in the games he played for Oxford with obvious talent. However, as has been stated above, that doesn't make him close to PL standard. One concern would be on his first game back at Wolves he pulled a hamstring, apparently the third time that has happened.
Guest Posted 22 December 2015 Posted 22 December 2015 Buy him, loan him back until the end of the season.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 There's a line in a Sun story this morning about Vardy to Man City that says we're confident of signing Gray for £4.7m.

FantasticMrFuchs Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Is a Birmingham sub good enough for us ?? He has featured in every game for Birmingham this season, only sub appearances have come when they have payed 2 games in a couple of days. Excellent home grown prospect for 3,75m.

Grewks Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Er ................ when? Are you being awkward or just slow?
stix Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Are you being awkward or just slow? Well he's never played for Birmingham.
Jackster21 Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Gray has a tone of potential and if Mahrez, Dyer, Albrighton or Schullp were to get injured he would be a good replacement and we could train him up into a good winger.
Babylon Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 Mirror say he's decided to join us! http://mirr.im/1NZMliQ
st albans fox Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 Guess he won't be playing for Birmingham tomorrow then

CosbehFox Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 Back in August, I was laughed at for suggesting he's better than Grealish...
CharlieCharles Posted 1 January 2016 Author Posted 1 January 2016 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/leicester-win-race-demarai-gray-7104148 Leicester believe they have won the race for highly-rated Demarai Gray. The 19-year-old Birmingham winger has been chased by a string of Premier League clubs including Southampton and Bournemouth while Spurs are also big admirers. Gray, however, has chosen Leicester in a huge coup for the surprise Premier League title challengers. MirrorSport revealed last month that the 19-year-old has a £3.75million January exit clause in his new three-year contract signed in the summer. Despite suggestions that his future could be linked to his club’s form over the next month Gray is already understood to have made his choice.
LegendOfJoe Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 has the day finally come that people are know choosing us?
