lcfcsnow Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Andy King vs Yaya Toure is a terrifying prospect, hope he's in lazy mode.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 No no no no no no no, no no no no ,no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no there's no dandruff. Â
Vardinio'sCat Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Get the performance right and we can beat them but I'd be very happy with a draw and ending the first half of the season second only on goal difference. Who would have thought that 6 games ago? Certainly not me. Whatever happens, even a defeat, it's been a brilliant first half. Â +1
UPinCarolina Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Hopefully Man City lets Saturday's triumph go to their heads, and we let our performance against Liverpool fuel us. It certainly has all the trappings of a David v. Goliath showdown - thankfully, we know how that one ended.
foxfanazer Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Need to be fully on our game tonight. Performances like Everton or Liverpool will see us walk away empty handed. Keeping De Bruyne quiet is priority imo
simon789us Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Hope we show the rest of the country that the bubble hasn't burst
berniethebolt Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 A real tricky one this and in my opinion the game will be won or lost with the centre midfield pairing and neutralising Toures impact. I think its worth a shout to put Inler on him all game and let Kante "do his thing". I think King would struggle to win a physical battle against Toure.Â
ramadaone Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Went to both Goodison and Anfield and in my opinion we are starting to look very tired Options on the bench are very limited in terms of being better than the starting 11 so can't see for the life of me how we are going to get anything tonight Apologies for negativity but it's just an honest opinion on where we are right now Will be there with my clapper hoping I'm wrong
AmyLGK Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 I'm going to take Ranieri's advice and just enjoy the football. This season has been incredible for us, why ruin it by worrying about winning or finishing in the top four...how ridiculous would that have sounded at the beginning of the year. If we drop away then we'll still have surpassed all expectations. It'll show the owners that with a little bit of the right investment that we can really go far. So let's sit back, relax, watch the boys play their exciting attacking football with a proud smile on our faces, irrespective of the result! Disclaimer. I may not take my own advice come this afternoon and the butterflies start to set in...

Nothing to lose from now on imo
MooseBreath Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 It's a squad game tonight and we're gonna lose. No shame in that though. Big game on Saturday to prove we're still up for this top-4 thing. Tonight is just a bonus game.

Players also being dismissed as rubbish when they are perfectly fine PL players
Thracian Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 I'm a little worried, but real worry is facing Man City when you're in a serious relegation scrap, not facing Man City when you're battling for the top spot. Ranieri is right--let the "big boys" (and their fans) worry. Let's let our boys continue to play for the win, and our fans continue to have fun. It Raheem Sterling is up for starting two games in three days, I wouldn't mind someone going into a tackle on him with a little extra sauce in the early going. This would normally be a Wasyl Special, but I wonder if Simpson is feeling tired and Ranieri throws Benalouane as a stop-gap right back. If so, I'm sure he'd relish the opportunity. Â Â Â If only the window was opened early. We could re-sign Danny Tiatto! Â
Mainlander Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 As I get ready for an early morning viewing for me I am comforted by the fact that this year it is a top of the table clash I/we are worried about rather than 12 months ago when the finger nails were getting a real hammering along with us most weeks. Its easy to see us getting a pasting but also just as easy to see Mahrez having a magical night and us winning by a couple. I hope its the latter.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 I love the unpredictability of football over the years. Aug 2013 - everyone in a rage that Drinkwater and Vardy are in the team to play Middlesbrough away Dec 2015 - desperate for them both to play so we can go top of the Prem again Surely things like this should be an indicator that you can't make sweeping statements about players no matter how sure you think you are, because things can always change...
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Think a bit of rotation is in order this afternoon to keep everyone as fresh as possible.KasperSimpsonMorganHuthFuchsMahrezKanteInlerDyerKramaricVardy
Spudulike Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 What's all this 'sit back and relax' stuff ?? Stand up and shout 'yer bleedin' heads off. Come on, that's what we do.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Anyone know anymore if Vardy and Drinkwater are available for this one? I heard Drinkwater is likely to be available but unsure about Vards.
Bryn Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 I'd rest anyone who isn't 100% personally, including Vardy and Mahrez.

Yep agree, going to the match with no expectations, just chilled out and prepared to enjoy the football, whatever the outcome. Then when they kick off I'll shout my ****ing head off. :-)
Guest Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Make noise even if we go behind. Â Show the rest of the world what City supporters really are and lift the team.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Make noise even if we go behind. Show the rest of the world what City supporters really are and lift the team. Agree. In SK1, I think it was the Chelsea game when they scored, it was followed quickly by a Leicester chant in the attempt to lift the players. Even if it's not straight after an opposition's goal just singing throughout whatever happens is equally as important. Of course, I'd hope we don't concede though!
