Spurs AWAY FA Cup Third Round...thoughts etc

Vorm

Trippier

Vertongham

Fazio

Rose

Mason

Dembele

Townsend

Pritchard

Chadli

Son

Probably worst case scenario for them. A decent second string team (minus vertonghen who seems to play every game for them). I imagine a few first teamers will actually get some game time considering we're 2nd so this is going to be a tough one if we don't play a fairly strong team.

Could be a good chance to make some money on Spurs winning a million corners against us though!

If Schwarzer plays, I might have them to score 4+

Fazio wont play, much more likely to bring in Wimmer if they change a CB. Dembele is injured and if he is back fit will be saved for the league game. Pritchard is a long term injury so wont play either. Wouldnt think Townsend would get a look in either as he is playing for the U21's until he gets a move. Bentaleb likely to play.

Wonder what kinda team they'll put out?

Bentaleb, Chadli and Townsend more than likely.

Vorm replacing Lloris.

Some of their second string are probably better than Villa's/Sunderland's first-team choices.

Will be a weakened one, they have players coming back from injury and need game time, plus some of their starting eleven need a rest, dont think Kane will start. Trippier and Rose likely to be full backs for this one, with game time for Bentaleb, Chadli, Son and possibly Mason

Still won't be any mugs then by the looks.

No it wont be as weak as the side they put out last season as 6 of that team have been sold.

They named their club after a chicken...we all know what Foxes do to chickens!

No they named their club after Henry Percy, nicknamed HOTSPUR a valorous leader who led his troops from the

front in the middle ages....

Later the cockerel came in,for the crest, because the claws on fighting cockerels were also called Hotspurs

ulloa with an amazing touch and clinical finish wtf happened

Well spotted and picked young man..The whole team, played a good game that day. Again low possesion.

Was came on for Moore.

For all of us,the all type posters, including me , reviewing this weekend, some good pointers.

Taking Nugent out of it, all players still the BB of our squad, Mahrez that day not even on the Bench.

Could start a topic of its own just on comparisons.TBF both teams improved, and notched up that extra

experience....This could be a real cracker and an epic story for either.

Before this draw, I really fancied spurs for the final,

I hope we can whitewash that silly thought of mine.( sorry but I am only human..I think :) )

Spurs I have always admired, and had softspots for W.Ham.and Palace.

60s-70s Chelsea had also players, I enjoyed watching.Until Wenger I just hated Arsenal

Well in that case, we should have named our club after King Richard III. The King Dicks!  :scarf:

Ahh fair play. In that case it's likely to be fairly strong if a fair few of their back ups are injured.

Although I want us to rest a few I also want us to put out a strong enough team to win the game aswell

I hope we do

I'm fairly sure somebody went as far as saying that Schlupp genuinely meant to put a load of spin on the ball to beat Vorm.

As if anyone would state something so obvious

I think the defence can stay as it is, aside from Fuchs, nobody really gets forward all that much so it can't be that tiring. I could see a few changes in midfield and up front though. Wouldn't shock me to see
