Fuchs more or less confirming that Huth won't be playing this weekend, by saying on his latest video he uploaded on Facebook "he's resting this weekend anyway" not that we didn't expect him to play anyway.

Let's face it, I doubt either club will be taking the FA Cup particularly seriously this year - which is a shame given the match is being televised.

My thoughts:

1. I expect this game to *essentially* be our 2nd XI v. theirs. And I expect their 2nd XI to be slightly better. But you never know.

2. Kramaric has to be involved. If not, then we should be looking to get rid this month. We're not a big enough club to have a £9m player sitting on the bench for what is effectively a reserves game. And at his age, he needs to be playing.

3. Having said that, Ulloa/Okazaki should be looking to get on the scoresheet. Neither has scored enough this season - and personally, I doubt the club is going to spend the £20m+ it would take to bring in a number 10 with experience at this level who would go straight into our first team. Realistically, we might have to accept that these two will be partnering Vardy for the rest of the season.

4. Inler hasn't been great - but not as bad as some say. He should start if we're going to play Andy King - because King isn't tough enough on his own to play as a central midfielder and barely makes any attempt to win the ball in the air. But he can pass and shoot quite well so deserves inclusion for his attacking threat.

Most Spurs fans i know are expecting to name a strong team with only 2 or 3 changes.

Kane will definitely be playing it seems.

What are they basing that on though, can only be a hunch unless MP has said otherwise in his press conference today?

Probably based on all their previous games. Against Monaco when they had already qualified from the group stages they played this team

01 Lloris

16 Trippier

04 Alderweireld

27 Wimmer

33 Davies

15 Dier (Bentaleb - 42' Booked )

28 Carroll

11 Lamela (Chadli - 62' )

14 N'Jie (Alli - 79' )

25 Onomah

07 Son Heung-min

Obviously not full strength, but they Had 5/6 first teamers starting.

I like how Poch seems to take all competitions seriously and has built a squad capable of doing that  (minus the lack of serious back up for Kane).

The real question is who will Was and Benny put out of the league fixture.

Fvcking Pearson not starting Ulloa against Villa was criminal.

I've been to some awful games but that was right up there with the worst in recent times!

Claudio Ranieri believes in Emirates FA Cup dream for Foxes

Read more at http://www.thefa.com//news/the-fa-cup/2016/jan/claudio-ranieri-spurs-preview-080116#eJ0ybcFlmit6hJFh.99

I'm a bit sceptical about this article.

It seems to state that Ranieri "isn't planning any changes" to our first team for tomorrow's game - but when you watch the video from which they've taken the quote, it's unclear whether he's simply stating he wants to keep faith in the players more generally after a run of 3 games without a win.

In any case, I'd be surprised if more than 3/4 of our regular first-team players start. And in a way, I don't mind that - some of them do need a rest.

It's also a good opportunity for some of our squad players with big transfer fees/reputations (e.g. Kramaric, Inler) to make a name for themselves.
