Voll Blau Posted 12 November 2016 Posted 12 November 2016 Standard Leicester flag hanging off the top tier.

Voll Blau Posted 12 November 2016 Posted 12 November 2016 50 for Hameed, great stuff. Isn't this the area of India where his family's from too? Absolute fairytale.
TheSomersetFox Posted 12 November 2016 Posted 12 November 2016 Hameed already looking like the best partner Cook's had since Strauss, very good signs
leicsmac Posted 12 November 2016 Posted 12 November 2016 Well done Hameed, fantastic stuff. Might the opener conundrum finally be solved?

Ted Maul Posted 12 November 2016 Posted 12 November 2016 Hameed looks very assured, all the qualities you need to be a good batsman- temperament, technique, decision-making, awareness. It's early days, but sometimes you can tell whether somebody is going to make it or not- just looks like he will score big runs, where the likes of Lyth, Compton and Hales didn't.
Guest MattP Posted 12 November 2016 Posted 12 November 2016 Really enjoyed that last session, not playing Hameed in Bangladesh looks a right clanger, early days but what a start, looks to have it all, the confidence to pelt Jadeja for six as well that early, baby Boycs?! Interesting tomorrow, see what the pitch is doing and if it starts spitting let's put some pressure on them, would be nice to set a marker.

StanSP Posted 13 November 2016 Posted 13 November 2016 Was hoping we'd get to the draw a bit more comfortably than losing 4 wickets [emoji23]. Been quite an enjoyable test match to start the series off with. Hameed looks a great talent. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

foxy boxing Posted 17 November 2016 Posted 17 November 2016 looks like England will have to work hard and try to get a draw with India after only the first day with the hosts getting over 300 with only four wickets lost. teams are certainly able to pile on the runs on these pitches

leicsmac Posted 18 November 2016 Posted 18 November 2016 What happens when you lose the toss in India; Exhibit A.
foxy boxing Posted 18 November 2016 Posted 18 November 2016 England mess it up again, up again, up again England mess it up again, oh well never mind another batting collapse watch out England are collapsing "Timber"
surrifox Posted 18 November 2016 Posted 18 November 2016 Some brainless batting as well . Can't just blame the pitch
TheSomersetFox Posted 18 November 2016 Posted 18 November 2016 I fancy these 2 to smash tons tomorrow in fairness. The game is 99% gone though.
RowlattsFox Posted 18 November 2016 Posted 18 November 2016 If the opposition gets a high first innings score batting first we are always in trouble, no matter what the pitch is like.
