5 games without a goal for Vardy.

It was a stat that the BBC website shared. Is it even accurate? Did they mean league games?

Should we be worried?

Mitigating circumstances?

He doesn't look fit at all and hasn't since the Watford game.

He's not running the channels, he's (I'm sure temporarily) a yard slower (his chance today came after Walker had outpaced him) and his touch is off.

I think there's a good case for leaving him out on Saturday. 90% fit Vardy is worth us playing, I'm not sure he's there yet.

On another day though he'd have scored his chance against Man City and his one against Bournemouth but it wasn't to be. He'll be back scoring.

Id bench him for saturday personally and bring him on in the 60+ min. Hes not quite right. Dont think he gives himself enough to time to ever recover from injuries.

Maybe slightly worrying, think he will come good soon again.

I would rest him vs villa and bring on if needed but play him against spurs in the cup, real chance for that drawing colchester i reckon

I'd agree with this. Thought Okazaki did well in the central role. Give Vardy some time to recover and let Okazaki have another pop.

looks like he's lost weight and some muscle, seems slower too. I'm sur e he'll be back to his usual self in a week or so.

When we had that super break, JV was a good way back and not running flat out.

Looked less than fit.

He'll be back...

No drama. He's had chances but just lacked a bit of luck recently. Get all the distractions of the transfer window out the way and a few weeks to recover from his op, and he'll be back to his destructive best.

Ooooooh panic. What a ridiculous thread.

If we're worried about anything it should be that his fellow strikers have only managed 4 between them in the league.
