Some people's attitude towards the FA Cup can't be described as strategic, it's more that they actively dislike the competition.

I'd be going all out tonight to win it. I actually think there's a spine of our fringe team that might warrant getting in the league games as well so I don't even think we need to pick the same XI as we did vs Villa or Spurs.

Yep, if you can't be excited about the prospect of Colchester in the 4th round knowing if we win that we're only 2 games from Wembley, then there is something wrong.

Say we won tonight then face a winnable 4th round tie we should win, we could find ourselves in the same position as last season (before we messed up against Villa). Really hope we win tonight.

FFS Safety was the aim, yes the goalposts can shift now, but seriously we are playing a side made up mainly of fringe players, why would you not want to win this, when we have a chance of making it through the next round as well.
