Izzy Posted 22 January 2016 Posted 22 January 2016 Our results have dipped since Rachel was banned. She was our lucky omen. This, this and this!! I think you should take a risk @@weller54 and start a Rachel Stoke thread anyway. If you get banned, I'll bail you out of FT prison
st albans fox Posted 22 January 2016 Posted 22 January 2016 Can Amartey play in this? No col I wonder how fit he can be. I presume Denmark are on a winter break.

waylander Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Weller we need Rachel step up to the plate man stiff upper lip.
Tuna Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Weller we need Rachel step up to the plate man stiff upper lip. Plenty of stiffness where Rachel is concerned.
Bedford Fox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Kante Drinkwater Gray Vardy Okazaki Reckon we sneak a 1-0
MC Prussian Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 We'll revert to our regular starting XI Schmeichel Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez Kanté Drinkwater Albrighton Okazaki Vardy But with Okazaki up front, it's usually hard to tell whether we're going for a 4-4-2 or a 4-4-1-1... Ulloa needs to be benched and his other mates today will be Schwarzer, Chilwell, Wasilewski, Inler, King and Gray.
ronnup Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Massive game again. If they fancy opening up it could a splendid contest but they've got some outrageous quality on the break too. 2-2.
Max Power Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 God I hate Stoke. Please turn these tw@ts over today. 2-1 Okazaki, Vardy
Livid Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Shinji and the other usual 10.. Hoping we play well and win but I wouldn't be surprised by any result. They're a decent side capable of turning us over if we play like we did at the Villa.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Match day! Looking forward to today's game. I think it'll be a close game, two very good sides. Predicting a 1-0/2-1 victory. We could do with 3pts today so we can head into the next couple of games morale boosted.
Loggy88 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Massive game today, especially with the games we have coming up. It became even more important after the dropped 2 points at Villa last weekend. I'm predicting us to nick it 2-1 today, can see us getting a little bit of luck which seems to have eluded us in recent games, I think we need to just go at Stoke from the word go. The okay seems to have been slower recently. I'm not sure if that's because teams have worked us out a bit now or if Claudio wanted to see a more controlled patient pattern of play, I'd say it's the opposition doing their homework because Claudio seems to love the fast play we serve up. The play-
foxfanazer Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Nervous today! Not because I think they're better than us but I just don't know which Leicester will turn up
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Nervous today! Not because I think they're better than us but I just don't know which Leicester will turn upThis in a nutshellWe play well we will win Anything less than our best Stoke will win
The Doctor Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Just give up on 4-5-1 and I'll be happy, it doesn't work for us. 4-4-2 and play our game, stop worrying about clean sheets at the expense of goals when it's goals that win games.
Wymsey Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 As long as we play the ball on the ground, we should be give as they're strong with set-pieces.
Callabinho Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 1-0 written all over it, could go either way.
st albans fox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I think the team thought they were in control last week and were playing within themselves and with a bit of cockiness. Once villa changed it second half, it became difficult to raise it. hopefully that's a lesson learnt - expect Claudio drummed that into them. Today will show if we have the energy to play as we did six weeks ago. we have 10 days rest to come so no reason to be holding anything back. Let's get behind Riyad - he doesn't need sighs if he fails with a dribble or a through ball. He needs to know we are all behind him. He will come through this bad patch. He will likely do that quicker if he knows we are all with him and trust him.

Gerard Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 As fans we need to get behind the lads today and cheer them on for the whole game. We've been pretty shit ourselves at Villa away and Spurs and need to our bit and not just sit there and expect to be entertained. A good feeling about today, we've dropped our performance as the temperature has dropped but it will be about ten degrees today. Good football playing weather and Vardy is on his way back from his groin operation and Mahrez to shine after a week's rest on a good pitch and not freezing his nuts off. Stoke have a lot of their key players as 50/50's and may put out a weaker side than normal especially with one eye on Tuesday's semi final versus Liverpool. We really need three points today with the three fixtures coming up after it. Everyone is itching to write us off even though it's only goal difference keeping us from the top so let's keep them waiting at least another week. Do your bit and sing your hearts out for the lads.
Livid Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Thing is with Stoke you know what's coming and it's up to us to be good enough to beat them. I actually prefer to play teams like Liverpool who seem to flip between great and awful.
MakingEmileOfIt Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Kasper Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez Kante Drinkwater Albrighton Okazaki Vardy Problem with this side, is if we don't go ahead, the only attacking player to come on and change the game is Gray... We really are lacking in attacking options.
