Leo scored but Shinji looked in a lot of trouble just standing there not moving, def need another striker in.

This is a worry. Shinji doesn't seem the sort to go off unless it's something quite bad. We are already light up top so we need someone in this week really.

We don't have another game until the window closes which is a relief

I still think we need another striker regardless just because ulloa got a tap in still doesn't justify how crap he has been all season personally I'd still sell him and get 2 strikers in aboubakar and milik will do

I cant believe how cheap southampton got Austin. £4m! When they tried to charge us £12m

West Ham co-owner David Gold hints Charlie Austin's Southampton deal is not a bargain 'if his wages are £100,000 per week'

The fact there's been no news makes me think it will be Carrillo coming in. I know Claudio said striker, but he could have easily meant forward.

We need a striker especially now Okazaki could be injured

Oh yeah I agree, I was just trying to think who the striker could be. Even before Shinji picked up an injury, I thought we needed two more. I'd like a proven older striker and a younger fast one to bring on to liven things up. We need someone like that coming off the bench.

On the Sky website he said he has Ulloa and Okazaki who hold the ball up and support Vardy. He said he wants another main striker so he can bring off or rest Vardy. He said he wants two players for every position and that in the main striker position he now only has one. So although Carrillo may come, in it will be in addition to a striker and not instead of.

For real:

I'm going for Remy from Chelsea

I'm with you bruv! Chelshite are after a new striker and Remy is likely to be the man out and will add quality and his wages are affordable

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if we don't sign a striker. No credible links have been made. Maybe CR is happy with what we have

Ranieri has already stated he wants another attacking option since Kramaric's departure.

It's all very well saying you want someone but who will want to sell their top striker in January? It'd be like us selling Vardy.

Correct apart from the wages part. He's on more than double that anyone is on here. Not gonna happen

I think Remy would be ours if we wanted him, if Hiddink lets him go. Who wouldn't want to join the team top of the table?

I'd be surprised if we didn't have something close with him coming out with the comments he made during the interview, otherwise he wouldn't have said anything, our approach in transfer windows is to literally say nothing about transfers so for him to go completely the opposite way says the wheels are in motion for a striker

I agree. Wages are a huge stumbling block for us. Can't see why We would cover his wages of say 80k per week and don't think Chelsea would want to subsidise them. I'm thinking an up and coming striker is more likely.
