I'm guessing everyone has seen a lot more of Gayle and Remy over the years too. Perhaps that's it. The unknown is more exciting! Can't see this being done so late now. More likely to be an English based player at this late hour surely?!

Any idea what they say about getting a visa? I'm guessing there is a deadline for that. As far as I was aware the 11pm thing is only for the agreement between the club and the personal terms. I'm guessing we can get a visa in the days after, but it is a guess.

Yeah you basically just need to submit a transfer sheet to the FA saying he's agreed to come (meaning you've agreed with his club prior) the details can be ironed out after the deadline. Musa is the captain of his country and a champions league footballer, there's no chance of him not getting a WP. He probably wouldn't be registered in time to play tomorrow though.

Obv no one we get now will be eligible tomorrow evening, not that I image we'd consider throwing anyone in against Liverpool!

I mean, Dwight Gayle sounds like the bloke who works at your local off license (so does Ahmed Musa to be fair) but the point is football fans these days want an unknown quantity out of Moscow rather than a know quantity from Palace or Chelsea. Someone said few days ago he'd rather have Eder over Remy even though he admittedly hadn't watched Eder.
