stevelcfc Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Awful journalism, Remy = cash + Vardy. That really is like selling an Aston for a nissan micra and having to pay the value of the Aston again to get the Micra.
Babylon Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Awful journalism, Remy = cash + Vardy. That really is like selling an Aston for a nissan micra and having to pay the value of the Aston again to get the Micra. No they are saying Vardy = cash + remy It's still total rubbish though.
MC Prussian Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Sure, we'll gladly hand Chelsea our most prolific top league striker in decades and get a part-timer in return. Go shopping elsewhere, Chelsea. You can afford it.
Steven Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 At his age why would he swap a title challenge and securing Champions League Football season for a securing safety challenge at Chelski? If and I personally feel it's still a big if he was going to leave it would be for a definitive CL team and not til the Summer if atall. Why would he want to leave us now with what we're fighting for and what he's been a massive part of? This.
NewquayFox Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Absolute Tosh, in the same BBC Sport article they say Chilwell to Arsenal for 4 million, we pay the wages of the idiots that write this rubbish.... Up the Titty.....
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Absolute Tosh, in the same BBC Sport article they say Chilwell to Arsenal for 4 million, we pay the wages of the idiots that write this rubbish.... Up the Titty..... You do realise the BBC Sport page you are looking at is one featuring a summary of football transfer stories shown in that day's newspapers - therefore the BBC are essentially copying and pasting. The Daily Mirror and The Sun are the ones responsible for the stories that displease you, not the BBC
ramboacdc Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 the london evening standard are saying that chelsea have said we can have remy if we give them vardy. I got worried that we couldnt do business with chelsea cuz they would put mahrez in the deal...how wrong i was!
thybluefox Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Vardy is about to drive this club into a new era. Champions League will change this club forever (for the better, I hope), and winning the title would be a phenomenal achievement. And not only will it change the course of history for the club, but this set of players will go down in history as achieving the impossible. Why would he walk away from that to a mid-table side that's currently more worried about relegation than qualifying for Europe?
Beliall Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Surely all the players know this is the only place they can guarantee a first team place for every CL game we play? its a no brainer, and they will get a wage hike to match any offer that chelsea or whoever would give them
Thracian Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Haha, so having come to the last lap of the storybook race for The Premiership that is gripping the nation, the expert businessmen who own Leicester City are going to swap/sell their souls and their talismanic prize asset to a middle-of-the-table team in turmoil and accept a struggling French striker in part exchange for ripping up and throwing away the entire manuscript! My life there's some optimists in the London newsrooms! They must think the land is full of country bumpkins north of the M25 - and that our manager, Claudio Ranieri, is their spiritual Jeremy Corbyn as in "We can't fight for the title, someone will get hurt. We must talk" Ranieri's got one extraordinary chance in his career to win the Premiership with Leicester, to write his name in the record books under the heading "football's greatest fairytale" and surely become a leading character in one of the greatest sporting films ever made. Yet some imagine he'll Cash In Now and wilfully turn his dream into a nightmare. Haha - and my aching missus'll get a job as a yoga instructor!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 We are in need of a striker and Chelsea think we are selling our best one to a mid table side
Babylon Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 We are in need of a striker and Chelsea think we are selling our best one to a mid table side Chelsea probably don't think anything of the sort...
ktfox59 Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016

Chelsea still want Jamie Vardy transfer — and could offer Leicester Loic Remy in part-exchange 22:30, 27 JAN 2016 BY DARREN LEWIS The Foxes insist they have no intention of selling their £30m-rated striker but maintain their interest in his wantaway Stamford Bridge counterpart Back on the radar: Will Chelsea get Vardy with a Remy-plus-cash offer? Chelsea remain keen on Leicester star Jamie Vardy - and could use Loic Remy as a makeweight to try to land the England striker. The Foxes have joined the chase for wantaway Remy, and have already made a £7.6million bid for the France international forward. But they have made it clear they have no intention of parting with £30m-rated Vardy before Monday night's transfer deadline as they attempt to pursue their shock title bid. Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is determined not to lose his one of his stars, and wants to add players to his Premier League-leading squad. In pictures - Leicester 3-0 Stoke: VIEW GALLERY He said: “It’s important to have - I need, I’d like to have - two players for every position now. “I’d like another striker to give support to the other three, because our strength is playing at high intensity and it’s not possible to play at high intensity for all the season, for this reason. I know it’s difficult but we must try.” Plumb ImagesExit: Loic Remy is set to leave Chelsea, though his destination remains unknown Chelsea have not yet made a move for Vardy and know they would face a tough task persuading them to sell in mid-season. The former non-League player, who turned 29 this month, regained his scoring touch - after just one goal in his previous nine appearances - last weekend, netting in the 3-0 win over Stoke, taking his tally to 16 for the season. would have loved to be a fly on the wall when Top picked up his phone to hear his secretary tell him that Roman was on the blower with a very cunning plan that could be of interest to him regarding Jamie and Loic

4everfox Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 I don't think Chelsea could afford Jamie Vardy. Not in the January transfer window when we are chasing the Premier League title anyway. He is indispensable to us.

WesMorganGod Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Hahahahhaa hilarious, swap Remy for Vardy? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Chelsea are deluded. I wouldn't take Remy for FREE, the guy has nothing about him. Rarely ever scores.
