Benguin Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 I,m prepared to concede that we'll definitely end up in the top 10 this season. I had this thought last week. I am optimistic now though! I think Europe is a given now. I voted 2nd but 1-6 and I'll be over the moon
Rincewind Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Villa cannot overtake us and we are safe from relegation.
ithuriel Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Would have preferred an Arsenal win for a six point gap but it is ours to lose now, 5 clear with 27 points to play for. Cant see the next placed teams getting maximum points so six wins should do it. Wow, even now, I still cant believe we might actually win it, here's hoping.

I would have preferred Arsenal to win, but it's the same really, since even with six ahead, Spurs will more than likely have a better goal difference anyhow, and would only need to equal our points.
Viva Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 I had this thought last week. I am optimistic now though! I think Europe is a given now. I voted 2nd but 1-6 and I'll be over the moon I don't know how you could be over the moon with 5th or 6th. Or even 2nd, 3rd & 4th.
whoareyaaa Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 5 wins and a draw will do it so we can afford to lose 3 I can't see us bottling at all so Champions here we come... un real
foxychik Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Champions .... things are just going our way we have a nice gap the big pressure is on the teams below us - dispite the pundits refusal to admit it this team are winners most of the squad have won a title if not "the" title .... And Claudio is just cool as penguin wee.
limeydale Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Voted Champions No1 first place. That's the target that's where my head is at that's where my focus is. Anything less is just a waste of energy. We still have to do it 1 game at a time and play smart football and fight for it but the title is in sight and that fact should focus everyone's attention on achieving it. The only teams in the top 5 who have fresh recent knowledge of the effort it takes to win a top of the league spot are us and Man City and I personally think Man City are too far back to catch us.Spurs and the arse now have doubt creeping in and in arse' case angry fans on their back. We are in the best position with a 5 point lead, it's going to take a herculean effort to knock us out of first place.where we've spent 16 weeks at the top of the league and the last 8 weeks in a row.
Guy Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I finally put Championey! I was uncertain as anything after the West Brom game in midweek (in spite of the great performance) but after the way the following Wednesday panned out then you can't help but think this will be our season now! Still 9 games to go though, not forgetting the final trio of highly testing games.....
trabuch Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 The others don't matter. We just need to keep winning.
Nalis Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 When you break it down into run ins, permutations etc then I'd say Champions.
Wolfox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Behave everybody "Insert quote from Ranieri" - we've been given permission to dream, but, let's not get ahead of ourselves....
chicagofox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 5th? Why is that even up there as an option and who the fcuk voted for it?
Happy Fox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Claudio is spot on 79 points will be enough. Spurs would have to win - 8/9 games is that going to happen not realistically. We need 6 wins and a draw and the title is ours!
tcrofts Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I don't know how you could be over the moon with 5th or 6th. Or even 2nd, 3rd & 4th. I'm over the moon that we've stayed up. Whatever comes next is a bonus.
Eastwellfox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 If i select the champions button we will finish 5th. My wife wanted to put £100 on us to win the title in December at 33-1 and I said no because we would have finished 2nd. So not playing this game☺
Kitchandro Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Martin Tyler said in commentary that Leicester fans would take 3rd place if it was offered now. I wouldn't. Really? What a cretin. (Tyler I mean)
LJS Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Claudio is spot on 79 points will be enough. Spurs would have to win - 8/9 games is that going to happen not realistically. We need 6 wins and a draw and the title is ours! I think five will do it. I don't see Spurs winning 7 of 9. Their run in is tough. Arsenal and City are gone. We're going to win the league.
