Can't see Newcastle winning anything. We've taken 23 of 27 points in the reverse fixtures. Anyone doubting our ability now will never believe.

Some on here are scared of their own shadow

I think people are just trying to keep our feet on the ground bud

Let's hope City can win not only this game but around 6/7 of the remaining games and lift that title, it would be utterly amazing if we did

Up the Foxes

Rubbish.

Tottenham lost at home to them as well.

Man City drew away at Villa.

Arsenal lost at home to Swansea.

Every team has bad results.

can't afford bad results at this stage of the season if we want the title. Gone are the thoughts of well it's been a great season. This is about the title and if we want to win it we can't drop points to this team.

It's ironic really that Mike Ashley, so often criticised for being stingy and sucking the profit out of the club, spends tonnes of money, especially in the January window, only to finally see his club go down the drain. Maybe he should have stuck to his guns and 'not invested' beyond the necessary.

Absolutely. But that's some distance from saying we don't deserve it if we fail to beat Newcastle

Surely it's the teams that are FIVE points or more below us that cannot afford bad results. We can afford to drop at least four points without any risk ;)

Although, it would be an upset of Newcastle managed to avoid defeat here with our respective forms and campaigns in mind.

Agreed but the guy said "we don't deserve to win the title if we don't beat Newcastle" which is rubbish.

The team that does win the title can still look back at certain results and say that.

We drew at home to Bournemouth and West Brom and away at Villa but here we are five points clear when all three of those games were two points dropped.

I agree it's a MUST WIN but to say we don't deserve it is nonsense.

For me our next six games are MUST WIN, I won't be happy with anything but a win in all of them. In fact my challenge to the team is to win the title or be 9pts clear after the Swansea home match.

Early goal please.  The longer it goes on without us scoring the more my nerves shred.

Think its a given that we should beat these .......     and there lies the problem.      Hope CR keeps the boys relaxed.

A mirror image of last season's game would be just fine.

A first minute goal

2-0 at half time

And 3-0 after 46mins

The one thing I like about us staying up last season as it wasn't too stressful, we seemed to have a lot of games as good as over very early in games.

Just looking at our last few games:

lost 2-1 to Arsenal in the 95th min

beat Norwich 1-0 in the 89th min

The Alamo against West Brom in a 2-2

and a nervy 1-0 win at Watford

It would be nice if we could enjoy a game or two by taking a two goal lead in the first half.  :)

Leonardo Ulloa headed the Foxes ahead after 38 seconds and it was 2-0 within 17 minutes as Wes Morgan poked home.

A repeat of last season's opening would be brilliant, the ref had barely finishing whistling for kickoff before Ulloa scored

Ulloa seems to love to play against Newcastle, question is do we start him or start with the usual team?

My opinion would be to start with the normal team and keep Ulloa for an impact sub if we aren't winning by half term.

not sure what or where you were watching but it was right stressful where i was.

we won probably two games early on. west ham (last min winner), west brom (two goals in the last ten mins to come from behind), swansea (hanging on a bit until injury time), burnley wasn't exactly stress free!

tbf i think that's what made it more fun. i'd rather win games like we did vs norwich than win 3 or 4 nil.

You still at school by any chance ?    :)

yeah at the time, obviously.

but we don't look back on "routine" victories as well as we do last minute winners. think of our recent history. howard vs leeds wasn't even the day we won league one but it's all anyone mentions because it was a heroic moment. some people probably can't even remember who we beat to clinch our 2010 play off place, yet our 2013 one is many people's finest moment supporting leicester because it was a heroic, last minute moment. people talk of "king vs west ham" or "the away end at west brom" from the run in last year, not "that routine 2-0 win against southampton".

aguerooooooo or what chelsea did last season? i know what i'd prefer.

Know where you are coming from Scouse but this season could be  SO BIG  3 or 4 nillers would do me fine ...     and if they get a bit boring a few 8 or 9 nillers mixed in would break things up a bit.

i think we can agree it's still surreal that we are debating how we want to win the league :D

I personally want us to lose every game left but in a way that means nobody will overtake us and we win the league after Wes Morgan belts in the goal from 40 yards in the 6th minute of 4 minutes added on at the end of the game at Stamford Bridge that means we win it on GD.

Arsenal fans will go into overdrive.

I almost want us to be completely shit and completely fall over the line just so that the Arsenal and Spurs fans cry for eternity.

Too bloody true !! ....   and don't forget when the Yanks do the film they'll re-write the end anyway whatever happens ...   Brad Pitt (Vardy) will probably score the Prem winning goal in the 94th minute of the last match with his leg in plaster.     :D

Surely it's all about the result 1-0 last minute gives us the same points as winning 5-0 let's face it we win all our games 1-0 with last minute winners nothing the chasing pack can do although I would like our goal difference a bit nearer Spurs

...While being 5 yards offside and having wrapped both arms around Hazard and pulled him down in the lead up. Oh and throw in (literally) a balloon that will deflect the ball right in front of Courtois. The assistant will be flagging and everything but Jon Moss will allow the goal. Perfect.

I want him to pick it up and run with it then throw it in the net.
